In the Healey Museum we will take you back in time. Into the rich history of Healey sports cars. We will show you a number of unique Healeys. For example a so called Works 3000 Healey that was specially built by the Healey factory to write history on the circuit of Sebring ! Off course there is a lot of attention for all models that were developed by the Donald Healey Motor Company (from Sprites to Big Healeys). Also the earliest Healeys receive a prominent place in the collection.
Andre Boer is a well known authority and collector of Chevrolet Corvettes. Over the last 35 years he amassed over eighty Corvettes in a privately owned museum. The collection includes every year of Corvette made. It also includes almost every special edition made for the public, such as the anniversary editions, collector’s editions, ZR1 Corvettes, all the Pace Car Corvettes, the first ever Euro spec pre-production C6 Z06, a Duntov Mark of Excellence ’67 427-435HP convertible and lots of other special Corvettes.
Te museum has a large collection of pre-war cars. We have oldtimers from several big European brands such as Peugeot, Renault and Citroën. Apart from those we also have some less known brands. For example, have you ever heard of Singer, MG or DKW? Finally we have several American oldtimers from Ford and Chrysler. Additionally there is a separate section devoted to historical textile and lace
NZH Vervoer Maatschappij (NZH Public Transport Company) has an established name since 1881. From the very start a leading entrepreneur in the public transport sector. Unfortunately recent far reaching developments and many changes have put this to a halt. Fortunately some people realized that NZH has become a relevant of our history. These people started to collect and preserve all kind of objects and artefacts related to NZH’s history. Their efforts allowed the NZH Public Transport Museum Foundation to arrange for u to see what course history has taken in the public transport sector.
Jack and Petra Bervoets have a beautiful and ever-expanding collection, which includes a fleet with a unique IFA F9, two Trabants, Barkas, Wartburg (both in VOPO version), Simson Schwalbe and MZ motorcycles
The Fire Brigade Museum in Aalst (formerly the Privat Fire Brigade) collects and restores fire trucks and equipment, and ambulances and equipment for emergency assistance from the period 1815 - 2015. The museum tells the history of fire fighting and assistance in Belgium.
