Museums in Latvia

The collection of retro mopeds and motorcycles includes more than 40 units of vintage vehicles – mopeds, motorcycles, scooters and bicycles "from those times long gone, when grass was greener and having a moped was a dream of almost every boy." A nice subsidiary of the Riga Motor Museum the Bauska Motor Museums features four historic vehicle collections. On the second floor the museum displays an authentic carpenter’s workshop and a 1930s landlord’s rooms interior. Temporary exhibitions and other events are being held on the second floor of the museum.

The garage is a place where you can see vintage vehicles and look at American and classic cars, as well as Soviet-era moto equipment. Here, visitors can feel the American spirit - feeling like America in the 20th century. You can also see an extensive collection of Jawa motorcycles.

To maintain the evidence to the next generations on typical Zemgale peasant farm, the collective farm "Uzvara" in 1975 started to arrange an open-air museum. Dwelling house, threshing barn, two granaries, cattle shed and smithy were taken to the museum territory and rebuilt.

Riga Motor Museum tells thrilling stories about unique vehicles, eminent personalities and most important milestones in car history. The largest antique vehicle museum in Latvia and Baltic's houses more than 100 unique antique vehicles. The museum's exposition also features modern design, multimedia solutions and hands-on exhibits.
