This museum which was set up by a local classic car club is now extended. It is not includes a new space, which has three permanent rooms in which various iconic cars of the Volkswagen and Audi brands are exhibited, which are an important part of the history of the Automotive Industry in Puebla.
The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology is Norway's national museum for science, technology, industry, transport and medicine. The museum's objective is to demonstrate the implications of progress in Science and Technology, socially and culturally, through the ages. The museum is an educational institution with collections, exhibitions, publications and other activities, which makes it a place of learning for all.Through its collections and exhibits it chronicles the development of Norway from an agrarian society to a complex industrial society.
Gammelbilens Venner, a local classic car club set up this museum, which shows the 100-year-old history of cars. The exhibition includes passenger cars, fire trucks, motorcycles, and old workshop equipment, scale models etc..
The unique collection counts around 400 motorized vehicles and machines, among them a portable steam engine from 1903. About 200 machines are on display - mostly tractors and stationary engines, but also some vintage cars, motorcycles and construction machinery.
"Many of the cars that were used to show tourists around Geiranger in the 1920s and 1930s are still in good condition. The current collection has ten such cars, and they are still available for hire with a chauffeur".
The Museum is located in a street tramway depot hall in Møhlenpris, some 15 minutes by foot from the city centre. The museum is maintained by groups of volunteers, and features a Gutenberg type print shop, motor cars and commercial vehicles, domestic appliances, a section on telecommunications and a large model railway layout. The main attraction is the tramway line to the city centre, which has been under construction for several years now. Currently the old tramway has an operating museum line of about 300 meters, taking museum guests for ride with the really old street car.
Franz Brozincevic & Cie, (FBW), was a Swiss maker of trucks and buses, active between 1922 and 1983 and based in Wetzikon. This museum, which was put together by the FBW Club depicts the story of the company
The classic car collection of the Grandson Castle is valued at over US$ 3 million and includes almost two dozern cars, made between 1898-1932. Star exhibit is Greta Garbo's 1927 Rolls-Royce Phantom I.
