Firefighting Collection, Römhild
The volunteer fire brigade was founded in Römhild as early as 1855. The first historical exhibition was organized in 1955 for the 100th anniversary. For various reasons, however, this collection fell apart again. After an exhibition to mark the 125th anniversary in 1980, the idea came up to preserve what had been collected in order to have a basis for future exhibitions. You can find all kinds of fire brigade exhibits in the museum.

GDR Museum, Berlin
The GDR Museum is Berlin's interactive museum and shows hands-on history about life in the GDR. Loads of motorcycle exhibits that are permanent but you can see many other exhibits as well. This collection, as its name suggests focus on the COMECON era with a Framo ambulance, a Volga, a Tatra 603/613, which are joined by various buses.
German Automobile Museum in Langenburg Castle
The "Langenburg Castle Automobile Museum in the historical stables of the castle, with approximately 65 vehicles, documents the development of motorised vehicles from vintage cars up to modern times.
German Car Museum Fichtelberg
Timo and Perry Eckert, local enterpreneurs set up this museum in the spa town Fichtelberg. On three floors, more than 140 cars, over 30 motorcycles and currently 4 aircraft are being displayed, from a replica of the 1886 Daimler Motor Carriage a 1991 Lamborghini Diabolo, one of the fastest production cars in the world.
German Fire Brigade Museum Fulda
A rather comprehensive collection which depicts mankind's fight with fire during the last 1000 years or so. An entire hall is devoted to the development of the motorized fire engines - fire trucks.
