Magirus Iveco Museum
The Oldtimer Club Magirus IVECO e.V. was set up in 1999. Almost 20 years later, at the end of 2018 the association was offered rooms for a museum in Neu-Ulm. The location was ideal, close to the Iveco Magirus plant and close to many active club members, hence many are parking their exhibits in the museum now.
MAN Museum
MAN and manroland web systems have been producing diesel engines and printing presses in Augsburg since the 19th century. The MAN Museum has been dedicated to these two products among other works of MAN engineering in the premises of the former Research Institute for Mechanics and Design since 1953. A journey through time from the first diesel engine to the innovative products and services of today - in the MAN Museum Augsburg you can admire, among other things, the first test diesel engine from around 1893.
Mazda Classic – Automobil Museum Frey
This is the second museum of the Emil Grey Group, a multinational car dealer company. The first is located at their HQ in Switzerland. This museum is located in Germany and focuses on Mazda: "classic cars in an historic setting. Against the unique backdrop of a former Augsburg tram depot from the late 19th century, Frey’s Mazda Classic Car Museum brings the car manufacturer’s great history to life. Visitors can expect to see lovingly restored exhibits, the highlight being the legendary Mazda Cosmo Sport.
Mercedes-Benz Museum
The Mercedes-Benz Museum is the only museum in the world that can document in a single continuous timeline over 120 years of auto industry history from its very beginnings to the present day. On nine levels and covering a floor space of 16,500 square metres, the museum presents 160 vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits. As a place of innovation, it also demonstrates that history can point the way ahead. The exhibition not only presents the fascinating history of the Mercedes-Benz brand, it also affords illuminating insights into the future.
Merks Motor Museum
The former production hall of a window factory with approx. 2000 square meters was lovingly renovated in 2010 by the Merk family. Since 2011 it serves as the new home for over 90 automobiles and around 100 motorcycles. There are also nostalgic collections of telephones, typewriters, radios, 2,000 model cars and much more.
Miele Museum
Opened in 2007 this Museum tracks the story of Miele, including an automobile made before the 1st World War, scooters from the 1950s and a lot of washing machines.
Military History and Technology Museum Eggesin
This museum lies on a territory which formerly belonged to the German Democratic Republic, so the collection reflects the time when the two Germanies were divided.
Mobile World of the "Ossies"
Residing in a former workshop, "Mobile world of the east" is a comprehensive collection of cars, motorcycles and scooters produced in East Germany. There are over 150 historic vehicles and other every objects displayed.
Montabaur Motorcycle Museum
August Hobl, a former DKW factory racer set up this private museum, which features various German-made motorcycles.
Moped and Roller Museum Schwarzwald
"In our museum we will guide you on a journey into the moped and scooter era of the postwar years. We show you bicycles with auxiliary engines from the 1940s, fast-paced motorbikes from the '50s, mopeds from the wild 60s and 70s. In addition, you will see stylish scooters from the 1950s through the 1980s. There are approximately 90 exhibits which re located in an old mill hall with disabled access. Total exhibition space is approximately 230 square meters."
