Assiniboia and District Museum
"Much of the heritage of Western Canada traces its roots through the Assiniboia Museum. A stroll down the ‘boardwalk’ will bring you in time to our prairie town of 1912. Borden Military Museum
The main museum tells the story of Camp Borden and the various schools, Corps and Branches that have their heritage vested at Canadian Forces Base Borden. Camp Borden was officially open on July 11, 1916 by the Minister of Militia and Defence Major General Sir Sam Hughes, KCB, MP. In the 1930's the Base became the headquarters of the first armoured school, headed by the then Major F.F. Worthington. Other schools were soon added to the base making it the most important training Base in Canada.
Burnaby Village Museum
Spread across 10-acres in Deer Lake Park, Burnaby Village Museum is the primary historical resource for the City of Burnaby. Stroll down the streets of a typical 1920s village. Classic cars include a Canadian Ford Model T, a 1930s Nash and a Tudhope-Everitts
Canada Science and Technology Museum
Following an extensive overhaul a new museum was opened in late 2017. It features more than 7,400 m² (80,000 sq. ft.) of completely redesigned space, including a temporary exhibition hall to accommodate travelling exhibitions from around the world. Combining everything visitors liked about the previous incarnation—locomotives and the Crazy Kitchen—with more artifacts and interactives that will surely become new favourites, the museum tells Canada’s innovation story in an immersive, educational, and fun way.
Canadian Automotive Museum
Located in downtown Oshawa, Ontario, in a former 1920s car dealership the Canadian Automotive Museum exhibits and interprets the world's most significant collection of Canadian-built and Canadian-owned antique and classic cars.
Canadian Museum of Making
Ian MacGregor's 20,000-square-foot underground Canadian Museum of Making in the foothills near Cochrane is the stuff of collectors' dreams: "The Canadian Museum of Making began as a personal project to save intriguing machinery and tools from being discarded from local shops, and grew into a renowned, private museum which gathers items from all over the world that live in the intersection between engineering and art.
Canadian Transportation Museum Heritage Village
"We have one of the finest collections of historic and antique cars in Canada South, most of them owned by the museum. We also have the only EMS museum in Canada. In our village, we have over 20 historic buildings, originating from various areas of Essex County. We conduct many automotive museum and village tours on a daily basis and we see thousands of school children attend the village every year to be a “Pioneer for a Day”."
Car Life Museum
The Car Life Museum is a great display of Vintage and Classic vehicles and Farm Machinery. It is located on Route 1 half way between the Confederation Bridge and Charlottetown, PE. It features vehicles such as Don Messers and Elvis Presely's vehicles. There is also a 1909 Maxwell that made its way across the Confederation bridge opening day.
Deeley Motorcycle Exhibition
"Our collection features over 250 antique, vintage and relevant models spanning over 114 years representing 59 different makes of motorcycles from all over the world. Founded by Trev Deeley, the exhibition represents a life-long passion for the sport of motorcycling. Through the generous support of Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada and its owners, Trev’s legacy continues and thrives."
