Elwood Haynes Museum

Elwood Haynes Museum

"It all began here with the invention of America's first horseless carriage by Elwood Haynes in 1894. Mr. Haynes is also known for inventing stainless steel and an alloy used in the space program today called stellite. Take a look at his life and contributions to science at the Elwood Haynes Museum housed in this former residence. The museum also features exhibits on the past and present automotive industry in Kokomo."
