Eastern Museum of Motor Racing

Back in 1975, a small group of racing enthusiasts known as the Williams Grove Old Timers, gathered near Harrisburg, Pa. They shared a common interest in the early days of American motor racing and a desire to preserve the history of that bygone era. To serve this purpose, they immediately planned the construction of a public museum of racing history to be known as the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.

Edge Motor Museum

"This museum is not a personal collection of cars. Each automobile is selected based on its historical and cultural significance. We aim to educate every guest about these cars, but also about what was happening around us when they were made. In doing so, we hope to encourage the preservation of current and future automobiles, thereby preserving their stories."

Estes-Winn Antique Car Museum

A popular attraction at Grovewood Village is the Antique Car Museum, established in 1966 by Harry Blomberg - Asheville’s Cadillac-Pontiac dealer for over half a century and founder of modern day Harry’s on the Hill. The museum is home to several antique and vintage automobiles that Harry and his dealership had come to own over time, including a rare 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham (only 400 made) and Asheville’s own 1922 American LaFrance fire truck. All vehicles are in running condition.
