Museums in Poland

Housed in a renovated 1000 sqm barn, this automotive museum from the Biernacki Family Foundation is today very often visited by young people from 5 to 105 years old!

"We'll try to take you back in time to the beginnings of Polish motorization, to the pioneer constructions of 1930's such as the legendary Sokół 1000 & 600 or Fiat 508. For splendour lovers we offer a collection of Bentley & Rolls Royce cars - the biggest one in Poland, including very rare models manufactured before WWII."

The collection of the Museum includes 200 exhibits presented in two manor buildings.

The local automobile club opened this museum in 2006 where a couple of members' cars are shown including a 1934 Opel 1.2-liter, a 1982 Syrena 105 and a Volvo Duett.

Janusz Borkowski set up Kujawska Fabryka Maszyn Rolniczych KRUKOWIAK agricultural machinery factory in 1987. Now the original farm, where the company was first located is a museum featuring a rich collection of agricultural and industrial machinery, tractors, cars, motorcycles and other equipment and tools that were used in Kuyavian region.

The Museum's collection includes: household items, tools and everyday items, furniture, clothes, tractors, agricultural machinery and equipment, old, legendary cars and motorcycles, militaria, uniforms, memorabilia from the times of war, historic machines and production equipment, vehicles horse carriages (carriages, carriages, battles, sleighs), souvenirs from craft workshops, pharmacies, offices, etc., old documents, archaeological finds, works of folk artists.

The museum is the only institution of this type operating on the basis of the Regulations of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, under the patronage of the Ministry of National Defense, which constantly and dynamically cooperates with the institution, providing visitors with ever new gems, while enlarging the collection of over 2,000 exhibits. Among the copies donated by the army we can admire, among others: T-72 tank, airplanes: MIG-21, SU 22, Iskra, self-propelled gun, so-called. "Carnation".

 The collection includes over 20 historic vehicles, mainly military ones, especially those of the American army.

Our undertaking is apolitical and its task is only to collect, preserve and provide widely understood materials about the period in the history of Poland from July 22, 1944 to December 29, 1989.
