Museums in Argentina

The most important motorsport museum in South America and the best dedicated to a single driver. The Juan Manuel Fangio Car Racing Museum pays tribute to the quintuple Formula One World Champion and summarizes the history of car racing in a dynamic display of over 50 cars.

The Municipal Museum of the Emiliozzi Brothers pays homage to Dante and Torcuato Emiliozzi, who participated in 183 races over a period of 20 years. 

Centerpiece of the collection is the “Galera”, which is a 1939 Ford with which the Emiliozzi Brothers debuted in the Vuelta de Mar y Sierras on April 23, 1950, and accompanied them for 16 years.

Opened in 1996, the museum focuses on the history of the local industry. Cordoba is one of the industrial hubs of Argentina, where automobiles, motorcycles, airplanes are being produced. There are Justicialista and IKA cars shown - both were the results of an initiative to produce a "national car" in the early 1950s. Similarly, locally produced motorcycles are also shown.

The peculiarity of this museum, located within the Autodromo de La Plata, is that all its cars are as they competed, with the original engine and in all cases can be used anywhere in the country. The museum arose out of Hugo Mazzacane's passion and now counts over 70 vehicles.

Nasif Estéfano was a respected racing driver and this museum, which was opened in 2006 pays tribute to his life with a few of his cars and memorabilia.

The Rocsen ("Saint Rock") Museum is a museum located in Nono, Córdoba Province. It was established in 1969 and features a "multifaceted" collection of over 18,000 pieces, with natural history, archaeological and decorative objects from all around the world. It also includes a huge technical collection related to carriages and automobiles: we find in this collection the most diverse types of vehicles.

This Automobile Museum is the first collection of automobiles open to the public in the Province of Salta, it houses a varied collection of Automobiles and objects related to motorsports, they range from 1890 to 1980. The cars on display have been carefully restored in their own workshop and all are in perfect working order, Daniel Chilibertto, their Owner is passionate about cars and he is the one who tirelessly searches the length and breadth of the country, these exhibits to bring them back to life and share them in this Museum.
