First Wallachian Motorcycle Museum

První Valašské motomuzeum

The idea to open this museum came from Miroslav Tomanec, a long-time motorcycle collector and motor sports lover from Seninka, who tried to race motorcycles in his youth, and they then remained in his hobby. He began to collect and repair them. Such were the beginnings of Miroslav Tomance's motoring passion, which in thirty-five years has collected almost one hundred Jawa and ČZ motorcycles. He is only interested in motorcycles made in Czechoslovakia.

The private museum of historic motorcycles and vehicles near Kučery opeed its doors in Soběslav in 2015. The museum covers 600 m2 and contains mainly historic vehicles and motorcycles from the 1930s, mostly Czechoslovakian production. In the premises of the museum even testing of vehicles is provided.

These cars are presented in their original preserved condition. . You can also find Simson motorcycle exhibit with tons of scale models, miscellaneous automobilia and memorabilia with a gift shop.

Museum of New Zeland Te Papa Tongarewa

A special motorcycle, the record-breaking Britten V-1000, designed and built by Kiwi "genius" John Britten that in 1993 set the World Flying Mile Record for motorcycles 1000cc and under, reaching 302 kilometres per hour is exhibited in The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. It is New Zealand's national museum, located in Wellington. Known as Te Papa, or 'Our Place', it opened in 1998 after the merging of the National Museum and the National Art Gallery.
