One of the largest fire museums in the world showcasing over 250 years of urban firefighting in America. It was opened in 1971 and displays apparatus from 1806 to 1957. Over fifty rigs are on display, and are complemented by a broad range of special exhibits. These include a working fire alarm telegraph system, badge anduniform displays, and Baltimore’s High Pressure Pumping System.
