Museums in Russia

The Museum of Electric Transport on Vasilyevsky island in St Petersburg is located in a tram depot built in 1906-08. The museum was established in 1967. It is concerned principally with the history of tramways and trolley bus routes in St Petersburg, and now has a collection of 45 restored trams and 18 trolley buses, as well models (including models of the horse-drawn vehicles that preceded the electric trams), photographs, uniforms, cash registers and other artefacts relating to tramway operation.

As part of the Sirius Autodrom the Nik Panuli Auto Museum features helmets autographed by F1 drivers, racing suits and mechanics, unique and limited-edition Barbie doll collections, a collection of Pirelli calendars,
as well as over 50 racing and rare cars from various periods including Mark Webber's authentic 2004 F1 Jaguar RB5, a 1,500-horsepower Dodge Viper drag racer that set a one-mile record, the early 1990s speed record-holder Jaguar XJ220, the ultra-lightweight and legendary Ferrari F40 road-legal supercar and others.

Though the museum mostly focuses on natural science and military history, but a strangely restored early Buchet car and a Moskvitch warrants a place in our guide.

This museum, which until 2014 was called the Technical Museum AvtoVAZ features Soviet military products, including tanks, helicopters, submarines etc.

Patriot Park is a theme park in Kubinka, Russia that is themed around equipment of the Russian military. It displays over 268 samples of Soviet and Russian aviation, armored vehicles and more.

Polytechnical museum is a scientific, enlightening and cultural-leisure centre of Russia, the main museum in history of science and technology. The Museum keeps more than 100 collections with more than 160,000 exhibits. Many of them are unique relics of science and technique. Museum's exposition occupies about 10,500 sq. m. and it is designed according to the chronological principle with the application of original historical documents and materials, relics of science and technology, working models and installations, dioramas.

Inside the parking lot of the LeoMall Shopping Center there are more than 70 legendary cars, American cars from the 1950s to the 1980s are being displayed.

The "Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy" Amusent Park in Moscow added two pavillons to its list of exhibits in 2021. 

The State Historical Museum in Moscow display the ex-Lenin 1922 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. h
