National Automobile Museum

Malaysia’s initial step into heavy industries especially in the production of commercial vehicles was the set up of heavy Industries Company (HICOM) in 1980 and subsequently Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Berhad (PROTON), in 1983, Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Berhad (PERODUA) in 1993 and Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sendirian Berhad (MODENAS) in 1995. Over the years the automotive industry in Malaysia has expend. Parallel to the development of Malaysia vehicles industries, a museum has been built.

Space Y Motorcycle Museum

Opened in November, 2024 Space Y is located within the Yamaha Motor Lifestyle Station headquarters in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. The 9,000-sq-ft museum features exhibitions on Yamaha’s history, racing achievements, an Innovation Tunnel, Interactive and Art Spaces, a Screening Room, and a Space Y Gift Shop.
