Hochhut Collection of Technology
Technische Sammlung Hochhut
In the Hochhut Technical Collection, every visitor can go on their own journey of discovery: look at a historic machine tool here, admire a large steam-powered stationary engine there, and marvel at a penny-farthing from the pioneering years of vehicle construction there.
The outstanding exhibits in the collection include a miner from 1898,
As far as we know, the second oldest registered car in Germany and a replica of the first automobile in the world, the Benz Patent-Motorwagen Number 1 from 1886, or the Daimler Reitwagen, the extremely rare two-cylinder Imme from 1954 or a Russian speedboat engine with 42 cylinders.
