NORWICH — June 19, 2013: The Northeast Classic Car Museum’s newest exhibit, “Wagons & Woodies: From Depot Hack to Station Wagon,” is now on display.

The exhibit features nearly 20 classic vehicles that showcase the evolution of the station wagon from the early days of travel through the iconic styles of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. With vehicles from a 1924 Buck Depot Hack to a 1972 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser, this exhibit will run through April 2014.

The museum is also showing the original, unreleased documentary film, “Wagonmasters,” produced by Wake Forest University graduate students Sam Smartt and Chris Zaluski.

Sponsored, in part, by Preferred Mutual Insurance Company, “Wagonmasters” will play in the “Wagons & Woodies” exhibit through Labor Day.

The Northeast Classic Car Museum is located at 24 Rexford Street in Norwich. For more information about the museum, visit www.classiccarmuseum.org or call 607-334-2886. For more information about “Wagonmasters,” visit www.wagonmastersthemovie.com. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
