Yamaha Communication Plaza has become a space for explaining the past, present and future of Yamaha Corporation. Take a look at some of the epoch-making products and imagine what the future has in store at Yamaha Motors with its corporate philosophy of "Providing new inspiration and prosperity to people around the world". On the first floor the first thing that meets your eye when you enter is the "Symbol Zone". The YA-1 (nickname Akatonbo) from which Yamaha Motors first started, and the latest products are lined up next to one another. Besides these, other new and old products such as scooters, cruisers, the world's first power-assisted bicycle and other latest products are exhibited as symbols of Yamaha Motors. Among these is the eye-catching Toyota 2000GT painted in a glittering gold. This is a genuine sports car that was jointly developed by Yamaha Motors and Toyota Motor Corporation in 1967. The 2nd floor provides an introduction to the representative products, technologies and activities from the history of Yamaha Motors since its founding. Among the bikes displayed in chronological order is the actual bike that won the Paris-Dakar Rally. In addition, there are also racing cars, wheelchairs, cruisers and 4-wheel buggies etc. that demonstrate the technical prowess of Yamaha Motors in many areas. There is also a Special Exhibition Space with exhibits that are rotated on a regular basis. Some of the previous exhibitions include "Revival of the Motor Show", "Collection of 2-cylinders models until the '70s" as well as illustrations and photo collections related to Yamaha engines and bikes.
