M24 – Motorsport Museum Opens at the Circuit in Le Mans
The Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) and Richard Mille officially opened the M24 – Motorsport Museum at the circuit in Le Mans on May 27. The result of a partnership formed in 2022 between the ACO and Richard Mille, M24 is a break with tradition in the way motorsport history is told and celebrated. With more than 120 exceptional vehicles, 8,600 m² of exhibition space and an entirely immersive scenography, M24 is the world’s first museum to feature six motorsport disciplines – Formula One, endurance, rallying, IndyCar, motorcycle racing and Can-Am – under the same roof. Personalities from the fields of sport, culture, politics and industry
joined the ACO and Richard Mille for the ceremony, evidence of the
universal appeal of motorsport and the pivotal role that M24 intends to
play. M24 opened its doors to the public on Thursday 28 May, at 10 a.m.

1980 Triumph T140MF Anti-Vibration Prototype Donated to The National Motorcycle Museum
The National Motorcycle Museum has welcomed a rare piece of engineering history: a 1980 Triumph T140MF Anti-Vibration Prototype. Back in the late '70s, UK police forces wanted the power of a British twin but without the numbing hand-shake. Enter Dr. Paul Morton, a brilliant mind seconded to Triumph (Meriden) from industrial giant GEC. Instead of just using rubber engine mounts (like the T140AV models), Dr. Morton went a step further. He engineered the "Morton System" - an internal balancer shaft that ran forward inside uniquely modified crankcases. Dr. Morton’s original demonstration models showing how the system counteracted those massive reciprocal forces. This incredible machine was generously donated to the museum by Dr. Morton’s granddaughter, Sarah.

Rare, 1955 Hudson Italia, One of 25 Is Ready For New Owner
Our friend, Paul Sable would like to give a museum a chance to own a rear rarity: a Touring-built Hudson Italia from 1955, one of just 25 built! This is the sexiest and most unusual Hudson of all time, which was unveiled in 1954 - just before Hudson merged Nash to form American Motors. The new management canceled the project. The car is an older restoration, but it is still one of the most accurate and attractive restorations existing. Due to the decline in pre-war custom coachbuilt cars, the rare, limited production cars of the 1950s have risen in interest and value. Paul is looking for US$435,000. He's located in Pennsylvania, USA and interested parties can contact him via email: docsable1@gmail.com or phone: +1 570-325-3494
