Changchun’s new FAW Museum Showcases 70-Year Auto Manufacturing History
The China FAW Museum opened to the public on Tuesday in Changchun, Jilin province. Designed as a new city cultural landmark, the museum was jointly created by Changchun Film Group, Changchun Cultural Tourism Group, and China FAW. The museum's multi-dimensional exhibition system recreates the more than 70-year history of FAW's development journey, cataloging its pioneering days, breakthroughs in independent automobile manufacturing, innovative reforms and transformations, and its current era of digital intelligence leadership.
Yamaha Communication Plaza Reopened With An Updated Exhibition Area
The Yamaha Communication Plaza has reopened its updated 1st-floor exhibition area. The new exhibits include an entrance featuring a message from founder Genichi Kawakami, showcasing products symbolizing the "past" and "present," a special exhibition on social and cultural aspects related to the company's products, and an area introducing both the manufacturing and design processes. The exhibits are designed to be more accessible and deepen the visitors' understanding of Yamaha Motor.
Toyota Automobile Museum’s Latest Exhibits Include Škoda 110R Coupé, TVR Griffith
New vehicle exhibits began on July 14 at the Toyota Automobile Museum, including a 1973 Škoda 110R Coupé and a 1965 TVR Griffith. The museum will also be exhibiting a police car and a fire truck in conjunction with the "Working Vehicles" experience event starting on July 17th. On July 20th, the museum will be holding a lecture by car designer Naoki Nagatsu titled "How Working Vehicles Are Made."
Ducati 100 Years Exhibition Underway at Wannieck Gallery
The Technical Museum in Brno is participating in the unique exhibition Ducati 100 Years Exhibition, which is currently taking place at the Wannieck Gallery in Brno. For this exhibition, the museum prepared 17 panels dedicated to the history of the Masaryk Circuit, which will guide visitors through the fascinating racing history of Brno –
from the first Masaryk Circuit in 1930 to the birth of the tradition of motorcycle racing, which continues to this day. The panels are complemented by original period photographs and graphics to remind visitors why Brno is one of the most important places in world motorsport.
Savoy Automobile Museum Opens Temporary Exhibit ‘Wartime Hero to Weekend Warrior’
Savoy Automobile Museum's newest temporary exhibit, Wartime Hero to Weekend Warrior, is now open to visitors. Having been built from necessity and evolved into commonality, experience various models that took the jeep from Wartime Hero to Weekend Warrior. Initially intended for military service, soldiers found the jeep agile and able to go almost anywhere. Postwar it became the vehicle of choice for off-road travel. Various manufacturers have used jeeps for delivering mail, as the basis for Zamboni® ice machines, farm work, cab forward pickups, family-style SUVs, and even hy-railway systems. This exhibition will be on display July 14 – November 8, 2026.
Pontiac Transportation Museum Welcomes Rare 1917 Monroe Touring Car
The Pontiac Transportation Museum has recently welcomed this beautiful 1917 Monroe Touring Car, built in Pontiac, Michigan. The Monroe Motor Car Company was one of Pontiac’s earliest automobile manufacturers, producing cars for a brief stint of 1916-1918. Though Monroe automobiles were known for their quality, affordability, and dependable engineering, very few survive today, making this an exceptionally rare opportunity to see one in person. Under the hood is a compact four-cylinder engine of roughly 2.5 liters, producing around 25 horsepower –
a reminder of just how far automotive engineering has come.
Motala Motormuseum Welcomes Renault 1961 Dauphine Rally Car
New at Sweden's Motala Motormuseum is this Renault Dauphine rally car from 1961, owned by Bengt Samuelsson. The Dauphine was developed together with the tuning expert Amédée Gordini and was manufactured between 1956 and 1967. A total of 2,150,738 units were built. With its 845 cc engine, the Dauphine became a real success on Europe's rally races. Several well-known rally drivers sat behind the wheel of a Renault Dauphine, including Guy Monraisse, Jacques Feret, Gilberte Thirion, Jean-Pierre Nicolas and Jean Ragnotti.

World Famous Mullin Collection Finds Permanent Home at Petersen Automotive Museum
The celebrated Mullin Collection of French Art Deco motor cars has found a permanent home at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Assembled over nearly three decades by Peter and Merle Mullin, the collection is widely regarded as one of the world’s pre-eminent gatherings of pre-war French automobiles, comprising landmark models from Bugatti, Delahaye, Delage and Talbot-Lago. Peter Mullin described the creativity and craftsmanship behind these extraordinary machines as ‘sculpture in motion’.
