Caramulo Museum Presents “Magic Formula” Exhibition
On July 18, the Caramulo Museum will open "Magic Formula," the largest exhibition dedicated to Formula 1 ever held in Portugal. Spanning two buildings, this immersive exhibition celebrates the legacy of the pinnacle of motorsport through a unique collection that includes some of the most iconic Formula 1 cars—such as the Lotus 97T (in which Ayrton Senna won his first Grand Prix at Estoril in 1985), Nigel Mansell’s Williams FW14, Nelson Piquet’s Lotus 100T, Emerson Fittipaldi’s Copersucar FD04, and Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari F2005, among others

Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum’s Latest Exhibit Dedicated to Jeff Gordon
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum's newest exhibit is dedicated to Jeff Gordon, one of the greatest and most influential drivers in NASCAR history. Simeone Museum’s Upcoming Exhibit to Feature Classic American Cars Built Through 1976
In 1976, America turned 200, and the cars in driveways across the country told their own story. This August, the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum is bringing that spirit back. "American Dream" is a new exhibition of classic American cars, trucks, hot rods, and muscle cars, built through 1976. We're calling on owners to submit their vehicles for consideration. Exhibition runs August 8-23. Entry deadline is July 28.
Fiat Historical Centre Marks 60th Anniversary of AvtoVAZ Agreement with ‘Turin–Togliatti 1966–2026′ Exhibit
It was in the very premises that now house the Fiat Historical Centre in Turin that, sixty years ago, Vittorio Valletta, chairman of Fiat, signed an agreement with the Soviets for the construction of AutoVAZ in the city of Togliatti: a plant destined not only to become the heart of production for the Lada-VAZ Žiguli, derived from the Fiat 124, but also to help out millions of people behind the wheel and transform the face of an entire city. With the exhibition ‘Turin–Togliatti 1966–2026,', the Fiat Historical Centre tells the story of the collaboration between Fiat and the Soviet Union through archival documents, photographs, testimonies and period images, tracing an extraordinary chapter in Italian industrial history.
1983 Porsche-Kremer CK5 Group C Endurance Racing Prototype Is Now on Display At Marconi Museum
The legendary 1983 Porsche-Kremer CK5 Group C Endurance Racing Prototype which was offered by Broad Arrow Auctions unsuccesfully last year is now on display at the Marconi Automotive Museum. It is one of two Porsche-Kremer CK5s produced for the 1982 and 1983 World Sportscar Championship. It has competed at the 1983 Le Mans 24 Hours piloted by Derek Warwick, Jelinski, and Gaillard.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III Arrives at Portugal’s Rally Museum
The Museum of Rally in Fafe continues to grow and has received another remarkable piece of world rally history: a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III, one of the models that helped build Mitsubishi's reputation in the World Rally Championship during the Group A era.
The vehicle on display bears the colors of Mitsubishi Ralliart Germany and was driven by Uwe Nittel, one of the most important private representatives of the brand in Europe during the 1990s, accompanied by navigator Tina Thörner.
More than a competition car, the Evolution III represents a fundamental step in the evolution of Mitsubishi rally cars, serving as the basis for the success that would lead the Japanese brand to win several world titles in the following years.
Whitewebbs Museum of Transport Welcomes 1928 Humber 350
Here's the latest arrival at the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport, on loan from the British Motorcycle Charitable Trust. It's a very rare 1928 Humber 350 Overhead Camshaft Sports capable of a sprightly 70 mph. One of the first motorcycles to feature a twist grip throttle control in place of the simple lever previously used. Humber sadly ceased motorcycle production in 1930 to concentrate on cars.
Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles Acquires 1911 Penn
The newest acquisition of the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is a rare 1911 Penn Roadster. Penn Motor Car Company was established in 1910. For 1911, one model was available, the Thirty, with a 4-cylinder, 30-hp engine. Customers could choose from two body styles, the Model R 2-passenger Roadster, and the Model T 5-passenger Touring.
Rare DAF 31 HAVAS Mermaid Lands at DAF-Museum
After spending 10 years in Portugal, this original is now back in the Netherlands, picked up on June 1 for the DAF-Museum Eindhoven. Converted back then by Hans Van AS (HAVAS) Hilversum, this beautiful convertible is in showroom condition.

America's Packard Museum opened its doors for the first time 34 years ago. On June 30th 1992 the museum held its grand opening. The Royal Mint Unveils Collectable 50p Coin at Brooklands Museum
The Royal Mint has launched a collectable 50p coin marking 100 years of Grand Prix racing in Britain. The coin has been unveiled at Brooklands Museum, the birthplace of British motorsport. Brooklands Museum celebrates the milestone with its new Britain’s Grand Prix Story exhibition – all part of the Summer of Speed celebrations that includes a host of activities into September. The design features an historic 1926 racing car alongside a modern 2026 Formula 1 car.
World Forum for Motor Museums 2026: Call For Speakers
The World Forum for Motor Museums invites proposals for presentations at the 2026 edition of WFFMM, taking place from 19–23 October 2026 at the Schlumpf Collection / Cité de l’Automobile in Mulhouse, France. The Forum is a biennial international meeting for motor museum professionals, principals, owners, collectors, curators, historians, conservators, and automotive heritage specialists. Under the theme “Driving New Perspectives – The Future of Motor Museums,” WFFMM 2026 will bring together the global automotive museum community to exchange ideas, share practical experience, and explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the next generation of motor museums.
