CARDE Museum Celebrates The 100th Anniversary of Amaral Gurgel’s Birth
March marks the centenary of the birth of one of Brazil’s great visionaries, who took his ideas on mobility off the drawing board and turned them into reality. The engineer and entrepreneur João do Amaral Gurgel, founder of the Gurgel brand, realised his dream of producing genuinely Brazilian vehicles and left behind a legacy built on an extraordinary career.
This story will be told in great detail at the exhibition ‘Amaral Gurgel – 100 Years of Legacy’, organised by the CARDE Museum in Campos do Jordão (SP), which runs until 30 March.

And because the enthusiasm is so great, the exhibition has been extended until November 8, 2026.

The Bugatti Trust is proud to welcome a special guest exhibition devoted to the artistry of René Lalique’s automotive mascots as often seen adorning the hoods of Bugattis and other prestigious marques of the early 20thcentury. Bugatti and Lalique represent the pinnacle of early 20th century artistry though expressed through very different media and the new Lalique display will be complemented by the Bugatti Trust’s exhibits dedicated to the oeuvres of Ettore, Rembrandt, Jean and Carlo Bugatti. Unique Indian Motorcycle Collection Moves from Croatia to Slovenia
A unique collection of over 30 Indian motorcycles has found a new home in Slovenia. Samo Rančigaj has amassed this collection over 40 years. Previously the motorcycles were shown in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Now the exhibition is part of Hotel Grof in Vransko, Slovenia.
Alfa Romeo To Celeberate 100th Anniversary of Touring With Special Festival
On Sunday 29 March, the Alfa Romeo Museum celebrates Touring’s 100th anniversary with a special day dedicated to design and motorsport, including a parade of Touring-bodied cars on the track and the ‘100 Years of Touring’ backstage event, which traces a century of collaboration between Alfa Romeo and Touring Superleggera: from the earliest bodywork to the iconic Superleggera berlinettas, right through to the assembly of the 33 Stradale and the present day.

Lions Automobilia Foundation Presents Freshly Restored Willys Model 77 Roadster
Recently
out of the Lions Automobilia Restoration, Fabrication and Paint shop is this unique 1933 Willys Model 77 Roadster, originally
constructed by Australia’s Holden Motor Body Builders and fitted with
right-hand-drive, a Convertible with a Rumble Seat. The in-house
restoration and Blue & Black paint took nearly eighteen months to
complete. This one of a kind beauty is currently on display in the Willys Gallery at Lions Automobilia Foundation.

Fire Museum Bavaria Welcomes LF 8 Fire Engine on Ford FK2500 Chassis
During the winter break, the Bavarian Fire Museum was able to add another special vehicle to its collection: an LF 8 fire engine on a rare Ford FK2500 chassis. The vehicle is made even more exceptional by the bodywork from Bonn-based manufacturer Miesen. Manufactured in 1955, the fire engine was first used by the Altenerding Fire Department. Following the museum's TSF Ford Transit – a very common model – it now has its second Ford vehicle on display.
1968 AMC AMX Rolls in Southwards Car Museum
The latest addition to Southwards Car Museum's collection is this 1968 AMC AMX. American Motors Corporation (AMC) introduced its AMX performance car in March 1968. It was based on the new-for-1968 Javelin, but with a shorter wheelbase and deletion of the rear seat. In addition, the AMX's rear quarter windows remained fixed, making it a coupe, while the Javelin was a true two-door hardtop.
