On the Queen’s Roads: The Origins of the Modern Car Exhibition Opens in Turin
The Citroniera di Ponente in the Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi is hosting the exhibition Sulle strade della Regina. Alle origini dell’automobile moderna (On the Queen's Roads: The Origins of the Modern Car), dedicated to the transition from carriages to cars between the 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition, produced by FOM – Fondazione Ordine Mauriziano and MAUTO – Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, compares historic cars from MAUTO and 19th-century carriages from the Nicolotti Furno collection for the first time, offering a unique insight into the transformations in mobility between formal elegance and technical innovation in the time of Margherita di Savoia.
The exhibition runs until 28 June, 2026.
Petersen Automotive Museum To Showcase 25 Years of Fast and Furious Movie Cars
Whatever your take on the Fast & Furious franchise, it’s made an indelible mark on car culture. Now, 25 years after the original film brought tuner culture into the mainstream, the Petersen Automotive Museum is devoting two of its premier galleries to the most comprehensive assembly of cars from the franchise ever shown under one roof. Opening March 14, 2026 in collaboration with Universal Pictures, A Fast & Furious Legacy: 25 Years of Automotive Icons occupies the museum’s Propulsion Gallery and the Ross and Beth Myers Galleries, tracing the evolution of the series through the machinery that defined each cinematic chapter.
Maserati Umberto Panini Collection Opens At New Location
Last year Umberto Panini's famed Maserati collection has moved to a new location, close to the Moden airport. Now the museum has officially opened its doors at its new location. To mark the occasion there is now a special exhibition, devoted to the Maserati Tipo 26 which is on until June, 2026.

New Automobile Museum To Be Developed To Honour Memory of Carlo Menon
Rino Nogarotto is the leader of an association dedicated to the memory of Carlo Menon, a mechanic from Roncade (Treviso) in the late 19th century who built the first Italian four-wheeled car with an internal combustion engine and differential. Now he's investing his own money to set up a museum, where he could display his collection of 45 motorcycles and 5 cars and to honour the memory of Claro Menon. 'I own 45 motorcycles and five cars of considerable historical value,' he explains, 'and for more than six years I have been trying to obtain permission to build an exhibition facility on my own land'.
Driven: Britain’s Motoring Story To Be Opened At The National Motor Museum
One of the most significant changes to the National Motor Museum since it was built is about to be unveiled at Beaulieu. A new look entrance hall and upper gallery will house “Driven: Britain’s Motoring Story”, a contemporary museum display interpreting the development of motoring in the UK.
“Driven: Britain’s Motoring Story” will have five distinct areas focusing on how Britain has changed over the decades, delving into the social and cultural impact of motoring. It will feature stories to surprise, engage and inspire.
2022 Apollo IE Now on Display at PACE Automobil Museum
An Apollo Intensa Emozione (IE) is currently on Display at Germany's PACE Automobil Museum. This car, dubbed 'Red Dragon,' is one of only ten Intensa Emozione hypercars built by German sports car manufacturer Apollo Automobil. The Intensa Emozione uses a Ferrari derived 6.3-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine, rated at approx. 780 PS at 8,500 rpm and around 760 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.

BSA Rocket 3 Donated to The National Motorcycle Museum
For March 2026, the BSA Rocket 3 takes centre stage at the National Motorcycle Museum. Launched in 1968, the 740cc triple was capable of speeds approaching 120mph. This particular machine carries a deeply personal story. Purchased in 1974 with money borrowed from his mother - on the strict condition he would “never ever sell it” - the owner has now honoured that promise by donating it to the Museum for future generations to enjoy.

Currently on display at the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania, this incredible 1969 Elfin ME5The Elfin ME5 is a unique sports car originally built in Adelaide by Garrie Cooper's team for Niel Allen, it was designed to be competitive against Frank Matich's Repco V8 powered Matich SR4 and Bob Jane's similar McLaren M6 driven by John Harvey. Garrie Cooper's naming of the new car was basically 'M' for Monocoque, 'E' for Elfin and '5' for 5 Litre engine capacity.

The Postal Museum is opening up its store in Debden to give visitors exclusive, behind-the-scenes access with guided tours led by our expert team of curators. From vehicles too big to display at our central London site to 150 years of postboxes on 'pillarbox' row plus hidden secrets of their collection, this is something that postal history enthusiasts shouldn't miss. The museum will be running the first tours from next month on Thursday 2 April, Saturday 25 April and Thursday 28 May.
