German Tuners from the ’80s and the ’90s Opens At Autoworld
A new temporary exhibition has been opened at the Autoworld Museum in Brussels, focusing on German tuners. There are 15 iconic cars, including Treser’s Quattro Roadster, Mattig’s Manta Manta and Buchmann’s Rainbow Porsche.
Finnish Automobile Museums Advisory Board Helps Revive Lost Car Museum Collection
In Finland the first car museum was the Stensböle museum, which was opened in 1964 by Iván Wallensköld-Rotkirch, an artist from Porvoo. The museum closed its doors in the early 1990s, and the collection was later handled by Iván's son. This year it was decided that the collection will be distributed among Finnish car museums. The local Automobile Museum Advisory Board helped the process, which will see 11 cars and parts displayed at such museums as the Espoo Automobile Museum, the South Karelia Automobile Museum, the Kruunupyy Saab Museum, the Bus and Coach Industry Museum in Lavia, the Myllyn Vanhat Autot Museum, and the Vehoniemi Automobile Museum from Summer, 2026.
Eight Generations of Rolls-Royce Phantom at Colección Miguel de la Via
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars celebrates the 100th anniversary of Phantom in 2025. To mark the centenary, all eight generations are gathering at a very special location: the Colección Miguel da la Via in Torre Loizaga, Basque Country. The collection, built by entrepreneur and Rolls-Royce enthusiast Miguel de la Via, features legendary automobiles from all eras – including 45 Rolls-Royce automobiles with all generations of Phantom built up to 1972.
Metropole Museum Opens New Truck Museum
As part of the Dutch Metropole Museum, there is now a separate section devoted entirely to commercial vehicles. There are over 40 vintage trucks and lorries on display.

The world's first mass-produced car with a turbocharger, this model represented the pinnacle of the 02 series, renowned as a ‘small, fast box’ with a top speed exceeding 200 km/h. Production numbers were low, partly due to the oil crisis, and it remains highly sought after today.
Sunbeam 1000 hp Car To Be Started At Beaulieu Autojumble
The Sunbeam 1000hp, which hasn’t run in 90 years, will be started publicly for the first time on September 7 at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu. The historic run will take place during the International Autojumble. The historic car broke the 200mph barrier in 1927, making Sir Henry Segrave the fastest man on earth at the time.
Wisconsin Auto Museum Welcomes “Emma”
A 1927 Nash Light Six Sedan, nicknamed "Emma" has joined the collection of the Wisconsin Auto Museum under her own power! This car was sold new to Emma Benson, bookkeeper for the J. E. Engels Nash dealership in Mineral Point. Emma used the car until she parked it in a barn in 1957. It stayed there until 2019, and is a wonderful example of a "survivor" car.
Holden Monaro HQ GTS Currently on Display at NAMT
This iconic 1974 Holden Monaro HQ GTS is currently on display at National Automobile Museum of Tasmania.The Holden Monaro was produced between 1968 and 1977 and later between 2001 and 2005. Since its 1968 debut, three generations of the Monaro have been produced. The car on display was involved in the Tasman Bridge disaster on the evening of 5th January 1975 in Hobart, when a bulk ore carrier travelling up the Derwent River collided with several pylons of the Tasman Bridge.

1903 Oldsmobile Curved Dash Donated to R.E. Olds Transportation Museum
The R.E. Olds Transportation Museum is proud to announce its official accession of this 1903 Oldsmobile Curved Dash that was previously owned by none other than R.E. Olds himself. Olds donated this car to Michigan State University in 1948, and for the last several years they have loaned it to the museum, allowing it to remain on display for the public. Now, the story has come full circle as MSU has officially donated the vehicle to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum.
A Sun Cyclone Is the Latest Addition at Cotswold Motoring Museum
Cotswold Motoring Museum has a new addition. This beautiful Sun Cyclone has been loaned to the museum from Russ Yates-Aylott. Founded as James Parkes & Son, the company became The Sun Cycle & Fittings Company Limited In 1897. Sun motorcycles were built in England between 1911 to 1961.
