“130 Years of Škoda” Exhibition Opens at Riga Motor Museum
From September 12, the Riga Motor Museum will host a special exhibition “130 Years of Škoda”, dedicated to one of the world’s oldest car brands. The exhibition will allow visitors to get acquainted with the history of “Škoda” from the very beginnings – the production of bicycles and motorcycles – to the present day.

Museum of Nový Jičín Presents Freshly Restored AJS and Jawa Motorcycles
On 12 September the Museum of the Nový Jičín Region took over two motorcycles from the restoration workshop of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, VŠB–Technical University of Ostrava: an AJS 500 OHV from 1929 and a historic Jawa. Both motorcycles have undergone a complete restoration process and visitors can see them live from Saturday, September 13.
Ford Cortina Driven by Colin Bond on Display at National Motor Racing Museum
On September 10, National Motor Racing Museum added another veteran of the 1979 Repco Round Australia Trial to its display with the arrival of the factory Ford Cortina driven by Colin Bond, ahead of the museum's upcoming 100 Years of Ford Australia special exhibition. Also arriving at the museum this week is a Ford Escort RS1800.
1933 Ford Detroit Gasket Special Is Temporarily on Display At Winsconsin Auto Museum
This car was built by Doc Williams to compete in the 1933 Indianapolis 500. While it did not qualify that year, it did the following year at 108 mph and was the first Ford V8 to compete in that race. The car crashed trying to qualify for the 1935 race and did not race again until it was restored by the current owner. Following restoration, it was exhibited as part of Ford Motor Company's 100th anniversary and has won many vintage races.

America’s Packard Museum Completes Automobile Quarterly Finding Aid
America's Packard Museum has completed the Automobile Quarterly (AQ) finding aid! The museum staff has compiled a comprehensive list of over 1,000 automobiles from the last 125 years from the Amilcar to Volvo and everything in between! AQ was a hardbound, advertising-free periodical, published from 1962-2012. Professional photographers shot all the images, and while AQ published some, only their staff saw the rest.
