Hässleholms Museum opened in 2002 to create space for a military museum in a former garrison. With the help of the municipality industrial premises comprising about 6,000 square meters were repurposed, of which 4,000 are used for exhibitions. The military collections comprise the country's largest exhibition of Swedish military vehicles. In addition to the military collections, there is the Fire Brigade Museum with fire trucks and fire equipment and the Vagnmuseum with horse-driven carriages.
