Palazzo Boncompagni hosts Collezione100, a project created to celebrate the liveries that have marked decisive moments in Ducati’s history. Ten contemporary motorcycles meet the models that inspired them. Colours, shapes and graphic details connect different eras and show how Ducati’s heritage continues to live on in today’s designs. Ugo Nespolo’s works accompany the motorcycles with an artistic narrative of sharp lines, vivid colours and new perspectives on the Ducati universe.

Introducing The Brumos Collection’s newest car, the 1932 Miller Four Wheel Drive Special, the only surviving Miller four-wheel drive. In 1931, Harry Miller pitched Wisconsin’s Four Wheel Drive Auto Company on a radical idea: four-wheel-drive race cars. The cars arrived just days before the 1932 Indy 500 with virtually no testing. In qualifying, the promise of Miller's four-wheel-drive design was unmistakable. Both cars were among the fastest in the field before mechanical trouble ended their races. The perception was that four-wheel-drive racing was a washout. After receiving a Miller 255 four-cylinder in 1934, the car finally delivered. It qualified third and led more than 60 laps at Indy before finishing ninth. In 1936, it drove to a fourth-place finish. Harry Miller was out over his skis, but he was also ahead of his time.

The Wheatcroft Collection (TWC) have recently acquired this 1939 Mercedes 170 saloon that had always been in military trim. Other than a bit of conservation work, the vehicle can join the Collection immediately. TWC now also has another nice Kettenkrad trailer acquired from a long term collector and friend of the Collection. Again this only needs canvas and markings to complete and it can join the museum’s other Kettenkrad trailers. It is TWC’s long term ambition to have each Krad complete with a genuine trailer.

This rare 1927 Delage Di Skiff has recently arrived at the Classic Vehicle Museum of Perrigny in France. 

Two extraordinary motorcycles have joined the displays at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Both represent remarkable and impressive adventures on two wheels made by heroic riders, taking them on journeys that pushed boundaries and brought them in touch with different cultures and climate extremes. Jacqui Furneaux embarked on a seven year, 40,000-mile adventure on her Enfield, whilst the Royal Enfield Himalayan with its studded tyres was the bike ridden by Dean Coxson in the 2021 90º South Expedition to the South Pole to mark 120 years of continuous Royal Enfield motorcycle manufacture.

Long before the Shelby Cobra combined British chassis design with American V8 power, Sydney Allard was already doing it. Tampa Bay Automobile Museum’s newest arrival, Chassis No. 1739, is one of only about 90 Allard J2s ever built. Shipped to the U.S. without an engine in 1950, this rare racer went on an extraordinary journey: Raced in 1950s hill climbs and speed trials; Disassembled, abandoned and rescued from a scrapyard; Rebuilt with Oldsmobile power, then a Buick Nailhead V8; Raced again in the 1960s by a former D-Day OSS operative. After decades of racing, modification and survival, this remarkable piece of Anglo-American motorsport history has a new home at the museum in Pinellas Park.

This beautifully restored 1924 Jordan Model K Sedan was recently donated to America's Transportation Experience / AACA Museum, Inc. 

The Tatra 613 Special luxury limousine was never intended for ordinary citizens. This version of the Tatra 613 series was reserved for the highest state representation. When the cars reached the end of their lifecycle, there was a strict regulation that these cars were not allowed to reach the common people. And the Tatra Technical Museum in Koprivnice now has one such piece of Tatra cars history on display at the museum.

Konrad Auwärter was ceremoniously inducted into FIVA Heritage Hall of Fame on Sunday, September 6, at the Auwärter Automobile Park in Pilsting, Germany. In addition, two of his buses were awarded the FIVA Passport, a certificate of authenticity for classic vehicles. Through the Heritage Hall of Fame, FIVA honours those whose dedication, vision, and achievements have helped shape the history and culture of historic motoring around the world.

The international Mercedes-Benz “140 Years. 140 Places" caravan wiil make its first stop in Romania at Țiriac Collection on Saturday, September 12. The occasion will be marked by a special outdoor display dedicated to the brand’s 140th anniversary. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire three representative cars from the collection: the Mercedes-Benz 540 K, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss and Mercedes-AMG ONE.
