A new exhibit opened on September 4 at the Lane Motor Museum. It is almost impossible to see an original Mini without it becoming an occasion. The Mini is one of the most recognizable cars ever made, an iconic design left relatively unchanged for the better part of four decades. This new exhibit brings the Mini’s history to life and takes a deep dive into the pop culture of this much-loved vehicle that has delighted generations of small-car enthusiasts. “Mini Madness“ runs through September 6, 2027.

On September 2, the Savoy Automobile Museum opened a new temporary exhibit. Introduced on October 1, 1908, and built through May 27, 1927, Ford Motor Company’s Model T was the vehicle that put the world on wheels. Not only did it transform automobile ownership, but its unique versatility provided an opportunity for creative technology through innovation. In the early parts of the twentieth century, a nation of farmers needed pickup trucks and tractors. Businesses needed commercial vehicles to move goods. When snow fell, a snowmobile was the answer. In case of a fire, a fire truck would deliver firefighters and supplies in a timely manner. "INNOVATION to a T" showcases how out-of-the-box thinking, combined with solid engineering, made Henry Ford’s Model T a solution for tough problems.

The Simeone Museum is excited to announce “It’s A Drag! Too!” –

the highly anticipated follow-up to last year’s “It’s A Drag” exhibition. The museum is inviting local drag car owners to submit their vehicles to be part of this special showcase celebrating the vibrant history and culture of drag racing. This year’s exhibition will be held from October 12-27 at the Simeone Museum in Philadelphia and will feature an exciting twist: the legendary “Big Daddy” Don Garlits, the King of Drag Racing, will be participating and judging the show! Participants will have the chance to be evaluated by this iconic figure in a variety of categories.

The Yamaha PG-1, a small motorcycle gaining popularity in ASEAN countries, is the focus of Yamaha Communication Plaza's latest exhibition: “Ride Vietnam“. Through entries from the “PG-1 Art Contest,“ held in Vietnam to showcase its appeal, this exhibition delivers a vibrant and colorful glimpse into the life and spirit of present-day Vietnam. The exhibition runs until November 15th, 2026.

From September 4 to October 5, Ducati 100 – A Century on Display in Bologna takes over the city with a month-long journey through Ducati's history, craftsmanship, design and identity. Across iconic locations throughout the city, you'll be able to experience the atmosphere of the Borgo Panigale factory through exclusive images and stories; retrace the eras that shaped Ducati's legacy; follow the creative journey from first sketch to final product, and discover today's bikes alongside the historic models that inspired them. Plus, on two match days, the Desmosedici GP will take over Renato Dall'Ara Stadium.

After several days of cleanup following the car that struck Midwest Dream Car Collection’s building on the night of August 28, the museum is ready to welcome you back! Repairs will continue in part of the museum, but there are still plenty of incredible vehicles and exhibits to enjoy.

Marconi Automotive Museum’s 1972 Dino 246 GT isn’t just one of the most recognizable sports cars of its era, it holds an especially important place in the museum’s history. It was the first Ferrari purchased by the founder Dick Marconi, and was the benchmark of the collection you see there today. The Dino was once considered as a possible race car, receiving a number of unmistakable modifications along the way. The Dino’s engine has now been completely rebuilt and reinstalled in the Marconi Museum Race Shop. With the major work complete, the car will soon be carefully putting back together. Soon, this incredibly important piece of Marconi history will return to the museum showroom where visitors will once again be able to see the car that helped start it all.

This 1962 Chevrolet Biscayne MD State Police car was recently donated to America's Transportation Experience / AACA Museum, Inc.

The latest arrival into the display at Australia's National Motor Racing Museum is currently the last Toyota Supra to have competed in the Bathurst 1000, way back in 1992. Restored back to the 1991 colours and specification, the Toyota Supra Turbo was raced by Garry Willmington and Reda Awadallah, and unfortunately failed to complete all 161 laps back in 1991.

This attractive 1956 Hudson Rambler Super has recently landed in the lobby of America On Wheels Museum. Launched on 15 December 1955, the 1956 model year Rambler Six ushered a "new era in motoring has begun" according to George W. Romney, President of AMC. In 1956, the Rambler was sold through both Nash and Hudson networks of dealerships. This resulted from the merger of the two companies to form AMC in 1954. The new Rambler line created and defined a new market segment, the "compact car" as the automobile classification was called at that time. A V8 engine powered model, the Rambler V8, was added for the 1957 model year.

On September 3, the National Corvette Museum celebrated a new chapter in Corvette preservation with the ribbon cutting of their new Collections Facility during the museum’s 32nd Anniversary Celebration. This milestone marks the completion of a new, state-of-the-art space dedicated to preserving and protecting the history of America’s Sports Car for generations to come. Please note that public access to the Collections Facility will begin in early 2027 as we prepare the space to welcome guests.
