Luciano Battisti Collection
Luciano Battisti was a collector and enterpreneur in Pesaro, who worked on this museum for years. His work has been finished by his wife and his nephew and the museum opened its doors in December, 2024.
It is an extraordinary collection of over 200 road and racing motorcycles which are unique in the world. Among the motorcycles on display, there are plenty of important Benelli and MotoBi bikes, which once competed on the most famous circuits in the world with great drivers, such as Renzo Pasolini, Silvio Grassetti, Kel Carruthers, Mike Hailwood and Jarno Saarinen. There is also an exhibition of Yamaha, with the 250 world champion of Cadalora and the 500 world champion with Eddy Lawson in evidence, but also the Morbidelli 250 of Graziano Rossi, the MotoBi 125 of Eugenio Lazzarini, the Bianchi 350 of Silvio Grassetti and the Norton 500 of Paolo Campanelli.
