Museum of the Epic Aviation and Industry

The Musée de l’Épopée de l’Aviation et de l’Industrie in Albert is the brainchild of Marc Bétrancourt, a collector sinc the 1960s. It all started with a fascination with everyday objects: stamps, matchboxes and capsules. However, this passion for the collection turned into a much more ambitious project when it turned to old cars in the 1960s. Marc Bétrancourt wanted at all costs to save vehicles for scrap metal, and by 1970 he had already accumulated 52 cars, gradually restored.
