Auto World Museum

The Auto World Museum features Mr. William E. Backer’s vintage automobile Collection and reflects his and his daughter’s, Vicki Backer McDaniel’s vision. A "home grown" engineer, Bill is a highly successful local manufacturer, businessman, and automobile collector. Bill spent his life collecting the amazing cars he loves. He has now entrusted this remarkable collection to our foundation to insure these automotive treasures are preserved and available all to see. In addition to vintage cars, Auto World contains exhibits collections of memorabilia and attractions depicting the history surrounding the automobile in Missouri.
