Škoda Museum Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary
The Škoda Museum in Mladá Boleslav is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Since its opening in 1995, it has showcased a plenty of unique historic vehicles, hosted many themed exhibitions and welcomed more than four million visitors. Since its opening, it has thus contributed to enriching cultural life in both Mladá Boleslav and the entire region. The museum continually enriches its permanent displays with themed exhibitions, presenting concept cars, design studies and or student projects soon after their world premieres.

Renault to Auction 100 Historic Cars Ahead of New Museum Opening
Renault is preparing to auction off a significant portion of its historic vehicle collection as part of a major reshaping effort before opening a new museum near Paris.The French automaker announced that approx. 100 vehicles will be offered at auction on December 7, 2025, through Artcurial. The sale will include both road-going classics and competition machines, with about two dozen race cars on the docket. Among the highlights are a 1983 RE40 Formula One chassis, a 1975 Alpine A442 prototype, a Renault-Lotus 95T and a Renault RE30 B9.
Marazzato Foundation Celebrates 50 Years of IVECO
Together with IVECO and Borgo Agnello SpA, the Marazzato Foundation looks forward to seeing you for a unique weekend of history, engines, and innovation. There will also be a conference, the presentation of the book on IVECO's history, a tour of the rice fields, a Power Stage on the Daily, test drives, virtual reality, art, modeling, and street food. The event will be held on October 18-19. Free admission.
Sloan Museum of Discovery to Unveil “Community Cars” Exhibit
Sloan Museum of Discovery is set to unveil its Community Cars exhibit in the Durant Gallery. This exhibit will feature 3 selected vehicles owned and maintained by community members for a full year in the auto gallery - the 1965 Pontiac GTO, 1988 Fiero GT, and 1997 Buick Skylark (plus the splash of color) are a welcome addition to the museum's space.
Open Day at Rudolf Bald’s Historical BMW Vehicle Collection
The late Rudolf Bald's collection in the German town of Erndtebrück has just two open days a year. On 3 October it will be possible to explore the collection of over 50 BMW motorcycles, including rare models such as the BMW R 32 from 1923 and the R 69 US from 1968.

2002 Targa Tasmania Monaro Now on Display at NAMT
Currently on display in the 'Hall of Muscle' at National Automobile Museum of Tasmania is this 2002 Targa Tasmania Monaro, a specially prepared vehicle driven by racing legend Peter Brock and his son James in the iconic tarmac rally event. Based on the V2 Series 1 Holden Monaro CV8, the car was developed in partnership with the Monaro Performance Centre and featured minimal modifications to stay within competition rules for showroom-based cars.It ran a near-stock 5.7L LS1 V8 engine, with only mild tuning including upgraded valve springs and a camshaft.
1937 Buick Model 47 Joins The NB Center For American Automotive Heritage
A highly original 1937 Buick Model 47 4-door sedan joined the collection of The NB Center For American Automotive Heritage. Commonly referred to as “slant” or “slope” back due to the distinct sloping shape of the rear roofline of the car, these elegant sedans were fitted with a 248 cubic inch straight-eight engine making 100 horsepower and 196 lb/ft of torque and had a 122 inch wheelbase. This particular example has been off the road for decades and is in as-found condition, complete with dust and all!
Upper Franconian Fire Museum Acquires 1976 MAN Fire Truck
A 1976 MAN HALF 11.168 fire truck with special body by Ziegler is now on display at the Oberfränkisches Feuerwehrmuseum. As part of the "rolling museum" the vehicle is in roadworthy condition.
Military and Contemporary History Museum of Stammheim Acquires M50A3 Water Truck
The latest addition to the collection of Military and Contemporary History Museum Stammheim is this M50A3 water truck. The M50 had a 1,000-U.S.-gallon (3,800 L; 830 imp gal) water tank, of which later variants had internal baffles to combat weight transfer during motion. The M50 will be displayed starting from March 2026.
Clive Palmer Is Building Australia’s Largest Car Museum
Clive Palmer, a mining magnate and politician who operated the Palmer Motorama Vintage Car Museum in the 2010s is now working on a "world-class destination and a lasting legacy for automotive history in Australia" at his Palmer Coolum Resort. The museum will have a 43,000m2 footprint and is located at Patrick Estate, between Lowood and Lake Wivenhoe. Once complete, it will house more than 1000 rare and historic cars, as well as 300 vintage and classic motorcycles.
Ayrton Senna Is Inducted Into the Automotive Hall of Fame
Ayrton Senna has been inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame. Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brands and Ayrton’s niece, delivered a moving tribute that brought both applause and tears, reminding us of his incredible impact on and off the track. She thanked Honda Racing and McLaren Racing for their partnership with Ayrton — a legacy beautifully symbolized by the presence of his iconic 1992 McLaren MP4/7A on display.
