The San Diego Automotive Museum’s latest exhibit ”Art Deco: The Machine Age in Motion” will open on October 2, 2026. Among the cars on display will be a 1937 Delage D8-120 Aerosport Coupe.

A Story Lost to Time. Finally Told. ”For Gold & Glory” welcomed its first public visitors on September 21 at LeMay – America’s Car Museum. Discover Charlie Wiggins’ story and see the original, one-of-one Wiggins Special, the car he built and drove to four Gold & Glory Sweepstakes championships, in its first public viewing in more than 90 years.

”Brian Biler & Connie Cars” returns to the Haaning Collection with new, carefully selected cars. After last year’s special exhibition, the museum once again celebrates heavily customized cars, vehicles into which passionate owners have poured countless hours and small fortunes. ”Brian Biler & Connie Cars 2” features customized cars from brands such as Audi, Mazda, Nissan, Toyota, VW and many more.

The latest addition to the Private Cars Collection of HSH Prince of Monaco is this 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/4. Once owned by Yves Montand, it is one of only 330 examples ever produced and it still wears its original paint.

1949. Le Mans. A Ferrari166MM and a victory that became part of racing history. Now, an example of this legendary model is on display at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

A new icon has arrived at Classic Car House's exhibition ”Road Icons & Racing Legends.” This Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 IROC, delivered with chassis number 911.460.0100, has a truly remarkable story – raced by Emerson Fittipaldi and later owned by Pablo Escobar. Now on display at the museum until November 8, 2026.

The Motoring Museum Wena has recently acquired a Fiat Argenta straight from Italy and in mint condition. In the 1980s, this car was synonymous with Italian style, comfort, and modernity. The museum also bought a 1975 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W116 ). For years, the car sat forgotten in an old barn. It had just one owner, low original mileage, original paint, and... absolutely no rust. Dust, dirt, cobwebs... but beneath it all lies a beautiful, well-preserved classic with real character.

This past week has seen the Gilbert’s Motor Museum welcome some new additions: 1961-62 Dodge Lancer, 1934 Railton Terraplane Sports Tourer, 1938 Buick Straight 8 OHC and the Greens’-Tuf (replica) XE Falcon of Dick Johnson.

The Auto Sport Museum in Châtillon-Coligny presents its latest addition, 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Coupé with a 4,235 cc 6-cylinder engine. Visitors have just over a month left to see it, as the 2026 season ends on the evening of Sunday, November 1st. In the meantime, the museum is open every weekend, and from Tuesday to Sunday starting October 20th.

This Volvo 242 GT race car, a veteran of the 1979 Hardie-Ferodo 1000, entered the display at National Motor Racing Museum this week. Come and check out what is probably the very last showroom standard car to race in the Great Race – on display at the museum at Mount Panorama, New South Wales, Australia.

The collection has a new addition: a 1983 GAZ-53A. With its recognizable silhouette, wooden sideboards, massive wheels, and distinctive front grille, it is the very same GAZ-53 that many remember from childhood.

The Estonia-9 is considered the first professionally designed Estonian formula car. It featured a low, streamlined fiberglass body, wishbone suspension, rack-and-pinion steering, and brakes sourced from the Moskvitch. The further developed Estonia-9M model was introduced in 1968, and the unit recently added to the collection dates from 1969. It was previously part of the MOMU collection.

The National Technical Museum has acquired a ČZ 125 racing motorcycle, which motocross rider Miloslav Souček raced in the 1950s. The motorcycle was donated to us by Karel Lorenc, a collector and specialist in ČZ motorcycles. Miloslav Souček himself attended the ceremonial handover in person. The motorcycle has been preserved in its original, unrestored condition, which is exceptionally valuable for a racing machine.  

The Pontiac Transportation Museum’s new outdoor pavilion is beginning to take shape. The staff is excited to share a look at the progress as they transform the museum’s back patio into an even more versatile space. This pavilion will be an excellent addition for outdoor events, weddings, private gatherings, and celebrations – while also providing additional space to showcase vehicles and other exhibits.

The Museum of Automotive History in Salamanca (MHAS) celebrated its 24th anniversary on September 25. The Open Day was a resounding success. Many visitors came to the museum to celebrate 24 years of passion for automotive history. The museum was filled with art thanks to the "Painting at MHAS" activity by Sketchers Salamanca, who captured various corners and details of the museum and its surroundings in their sketchbooks.

Following the announcement on 21 September of Germany’s Car of the Year award winners, the country’s Nationales Automuseum: The Loh Collection hosted Car Design Event for the third time. This year’s event featured a record-breaking concept car as well as new concepts fresh from the Beijing motor show, shown in Europe for the very first time. The cars of the event will stay in the Museum till Sunday, September 27.
