Toyota Automobile Museum Showcases Toyota Factory Rally Cars
Starting on October 21st, the Toyota Automobile Museum will be showcasing works cars developed by automakers specifically for rallies, as part of a promotional project for the FORUM8 Rally Japan 2025. This time, the museum will showcase various Toyota rally cars, such as the Celica 2000GT RA21/Group 4, Celica TA40/Group 2, Celica 2000GT RA45/Group 4 and Celica 2000GT RA63/Group 4. The exhibition will end on Sunday, December 14th.
“Back to the future. Prototypes of time” Exhibition Is On At Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile
Forty years after the debut of the first Back to the future film directed by Robert Zemeckis, Mauto – Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile presents the exhibition Back to the future. Prototypes of time, which explores the deep relationship between two of the most iconic mass-design objects – watches and cars – highlighting their emotional, mechanical, and symbolic resonances. Through this lens, the exhibition investigates the contemporary perception of time — increasingly accelerated and fragmented by the digital age — while celebrating the fortieth anniversary of Back to the future, the film in which a car literally transforms into a time machine. Taking centre stage in the exhibition is the iconic 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, designed by Giorgietto Giugiaro, together with a selection of sketches and ink drawings on tracing paper from the Italdesign Archive

Aeropark’s Latest Museum Bus Enters Service
Aeropark's latest museum bus, which pays tribute to the 75th anniversary of the airport in Ferihegy, entered service. The Ikarus brand is intertwined with Hungarian aviation and the over 70-decade history of Liszt Ferenc International Airport. In connection with the 75th anniversary of Ferihegy, the 1991 Ikarus 396.27 bus of the Civil Aviation and Airports Directorate, the legal predecessor of Budapest Airport, was presented to the public at the VII. Ferihegy Ikarus Meeting.
1968 Ford Mustang, 1989 Mitsubishi Galant GTI Donated to MAHI
MAHI - Automotive and History Museum, Angel Jove Foundation would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mario Paul Ziegler de Ayala for his generous donation of this 1968 Ford Mustang. This week saw another donation to the museum in the form of a 1989 Mitsubishi Galant GTI-16. These valuable contributions enrich the museum's collection and help preserve automotive history.
AMRTM Adds Longbridge-built Austin K8 to Its Collection
Thanks to their friends at Coventry Transport Museum, the Aston Manor Road Transport Museum - Aldridge Transport Museum are now the proud owners of a Longbridge-built Austin K8. It arrived on October 23, with some good volunteer manpower. The Austin has an interesting history and the museum will add more in due course.
1988 Toyota MR2 Lands at Dundee Museum of Transport
A rare gem from Japan has landed at Dundee Museum of Transport. This mid-engined targa-top sports car is powered by a 1.6L 4AGZE 16v Supercharged engine, going from 0-60 in just 6.5 seconds and reaching a top speed of 131 mph. Built exclusively for the Japanese market, this 1988 model was never released in the UK – making it a real treat for car fans. With upgraded suspension, disc brakes all around and aftermarket touches like Work Equip split rims and an HKS Mushroom filter, it’s a perfect showcase of Japanese engineering flair.
