Țiriac Collection Reopens in Expanded Location
On November 20, the Țiriac Collection reopened in an expanded form, inviting visitors to discover a refined gallery showcasing 300 remarkable automobiles. From this weekend onward, the gallery welcomes guests Friday through Sunday, between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with access granted based on entrance tickets available for purchase directly at the venue. The museum invites you to explore this distinguished collection — a celebration of elegance, heritage, and automotive passion.
Savoy Automobile Museum Opens “Shelby Built“ Temporary Exhibit
The Savoy Automobile Museum is thrilled to announce its latest temporary exhibit — Shelby Built, now on display in Gallery C through March 1, 2026. Come celebrate the legacy of American performance engineering and witness some of the finest examples of Shelby-built vehicles ever assembled under one roof. The exhibit features icons like the 1966 AC Cobra MKIII 427 Roadster, classic Shelby GT Mustangs from 1966 and 1967, and a rare 1999 Shelby Series 1. On loan from The American Muscle Car Museum.
“Pontiac: Dawn of Muscle” Exhibition Premieres at Saratoga Automobile Museum
The Saratoga Automobile Museum debuted its newest exhibition, “Pontiac: The Dawn of Muscle,” at a reception on Nov. 13. The museum describes the exhibit as a “celebration of Pontiac’s most iconic performance machines and the enduring spirit of American muscle.” Showcased are sixteen Pontiacs, including several examples of the legendary GTO Judge, a 1964 Tempest GTO, and the 1966 GTO “Monkeemobile,” which was custom designed for “The Monkees” TV series and autographed by all four members of the 60s rock band. The exhibition runs until April 26, 2026
New Special Exhibition on Mercedes To Open At Autoworld in December
Autoworld traditionally ends the year with a major end-of-year exhibition. From 19 December 2025 to 22 February 2026, the museum presents “Mercedes, The Story of the Star” — a prestigious showcase celebrating 140 years of automotive history, innovation and elegance. The exhibition retraces this remarkable story, from the very first three-wheeled Benz (1886) to the spectacular AMG ONE. More than fifty iconic vehicles, including several rare highlights, are brought together for the first time in Belgium.
Mercedes-Benz Museum Extends Special “Youngtimer” Exhibition
The special “Youngtimer” exhibition at the Mercedes-Benz Museum has proven so popular with visitors that it is remaining open for six months longer than originally planned: the journey back in time to the automotive youth of the millennials can be seen in Collection Room 5 until 12 April 2026. Since April 2025, the show has been inspiring visitors with ten Mercedes-Benz icons from the 1990s and 2000s – from the SLK and the E 60 AMG to the SLR McLaren Roadster.
Louwman Museum To Celebrate Van Amersfoort Racing With Special Display in December
Champion Makers: 50 Years of Van Amersfoort Racing - this special exhibition is set to be on between 19 December, 2025 and 18, January, 2026, at the Louwman Museum in The Hague. The exhibition honors the Dutch racing team that, over half a century, grew into an international breeding ground for motorsport talent and a proven springboard to Formula 1. Visitors will embark on a journey through fifty years of motorsport history, told through iconic racing cars that together illustrate the evolution of Van Amersfoort Racing (VAR), from the first Formula Ford in 1975 to the modern F2 machines of today.

Mercedes-Benz Club South Africa Showcases Replica of the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen
The Southern Cape Region of the Mercedes-Benz Club of South Africa has announced the exhibition of an exact replica of the 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen, the world's first automobile, in celebration of the upcoming 140th Anniversary of the motorcar. The replica 1886 Benz Patent-Motorwagen is on display at the George Museum from 15 December until 5 January 2026.
GM Motorama Show Will Go on at the Gilmore
Joe Bortz has recently signed an agreement to display eight of his Motorama dream cars in mid April 2026 at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan, upon the conclusion of their two-year stint at Los Angeles’ Petersen Automotive Museum. The “GM’s Marvelous Motorama: Dream Cars form the Joe Bortz Collection” exhibit of six Motorama cars at the Petersen Automotive Museum is schedule to run through March 2026. The concept cars will go directly from Los Angeles to the Gilmore Car Museum campus where they will be joined by two additional cars from the Bortz collection.
Jensen Interceptor, Lancia Fulvia Arrive at Gilbert’s Motor Museum
This week saw the addition of a rare 1969 Mk 1 Jensen Interceptor to Gilbert's Motor Museum collection. It compbines Italian styling, British chassis, and an American 6.2-litre V8. Another addition to the museum this week is a Lancia Fulvia Marlboro rally car. It will be on display for about 3 months.
Museum of Horseless Carriage Receives Donation of Rare 1910 Olds Limited Roadster
Just weeks after a 5.1-million-dollar world record-breaking sale of a 1911 Olds Limited, a similar concourse quality restored example was given to a budding auto museum in Michigan. An extraordinarily rare 1910 Olds Limited Roadster has been donated to the Museum of the Horseless Carriage, located on the campus of the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI.

Rolling though the door of Australia's National Motor Racing Museum on November 20 is this fantastic JAWA speedway motorcycle ridden by multiple Australian champion Leigh Adams. This beautifully restored machine joins agreat displayof solo speedway bikes, and recognises the career of one of the greatest riders to come from Australia. Thanks to Rod and Sam for the generous loan to the Museum.
Norwegian Vehicle History Museum Adds Rare Ducati 916 SPS to Its Collection
On November 21, the Norwegian Vehicle History Museum picked up a 1997 MY Ducati 916 SPS. This model was only made in 404 units and is a road version of Ducati's racing bike. This model has a little more horsepower than a regular 919 and the rims are made of carbon. The SPS was released to homologate the new 996cc engine for Superbike competition. The bike will soon be exhibited at the museum.
Short-lived Pop Central Closes in France
Franck Galiègue, who is known for his Youtube channel, Movie Cars Central set up a museum in France in 2025 displaying a collection of vehicles featured in movies and TV series. Now the museum is closing and the collection will be auctioned off by Bonhams.
Mike Yager Announces Retirement, Sells His Personal MYGarage Museum
Mike and Laurie Yager announced their retirement recently. In a Facebook post Mike Yagr also mentionedthat he'll sharing portions of his personal MYGarage Museum collection with fellow enthusiasts and collectors. Over the decades, I’ve gathered Corvettes, air-cooled Volkswagens, petroliana, Americana, road art, and countless pieces with stories behind them... To help these pieces find new homes, we’re partnering with Mecum Auctions. There will be 10–15 Mecum OnTime online auctions starting in early to mid-December, and a special group of vehicles will head to Mecum Kissimmee in January 2026.
America’s Automotive Trust Welcomes Bruce Patton As Vice President of Curation And Education
America's Automotive Trust is proud to announce the appointment of Bruce Patton as Vice President of Curation and Education for LeMay – America's Car Museum. Patton joins the organization with an impressive multi-decade career in the automotive industry particularly at Bosch. He also has strong knowledge of automotive history and the collector community most recently serving as Curator of Savoy Automobile Museum in Georgia. In his new role at America's Automotive Trust, Patton will oversee the Museum's exhibition strategy, collection stewardship, and educational programming.
National Association of Automobile Museums To Hold Its Next Annual Conference Next April
The Annual Conference of the National Association of Automobile Museums will be hosted by America’s Packard Museum, in Dayton, Ohio, on April 20th-23rd. The conference theme will be, Reimagining the Road Ahead: Growth, Change, & Transformation at Auto Museums. In addition to the educational offerings, attendees can look forward to a variety of exceptional site visits that showcase Dayton’s rich history of transportation and technology. Planned experiences include tours of the renowned National Museum of the U.S. Air Force and Carillon Historical Park, offering unique perspectives on the intersection of aviation, industry, and innovation.
