Latest Exhibition of Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology Dedicated to the Italian Automobile
Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology has opened “Fatte su misura” (Tailor-made), the new exhibition dedicated to the design and ingenuity of the Italian automobile. The protagonists of the exhibition are four historic cars: three belonging to the Museum’s collections - the 1903 Bianchi 8HP, the 1932 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Spider Zagato and the 1955 Bisiluro DaMolNar - to which is added, in a renewed narrative, the 1938 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 B Berlinetta Touring. The latter returns to the public’s disposal after being entrusted to the Museum in judicial custody by the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Guardia di Finanza of Milan.

“A Life Dedicated to Praga Cars. A Tribute to Emil Příhoda” Exhibition Opens At NTM
A new temporary exhibition has been opened at the Národní Technické Muzeum (National Technical Museum) in Prague dedicated to Emil Příhoda, the world renowned Praga collector. The Museum has recently acquired 15 cars from his collection and there are eight of these cars shown. "Visitors can admire touring and utility models produced between 1921–1946, including the luxury Praga Grand, Mignon and Golden cars, the iconic small Praga Super Piccolo car, the Praga AN utility vehicle and the Praga AN bus. The ninth car on display is a borrowed Praga Alfa, Emil Příhoda's first Praga car"

National Motor Racing Museum Welcomes BMW M3 Group A Racing Car
Arriving for display at the National Motor Racing Museum on June 18 is the final BMW M3 built for Group A racing in Australia. Making a debut at the 1992 Bathurst 1000 driven by Tony Longhurst and Johnny Cecotto, this car made a surprising top 10 qualifying appearance, but an accident in pre race warmup hampered the team in a rain shortened Bathurst 1000. In full DTM specifications with the 2.5 litre engine, 18” wheels and full aero kit, this car represents the ultimate for the legendary E30 M3.
Rare 1995 Mazda RX-7 SP Now on Display at NAMT
This rare 1995 Mazda RX-7 SP has just arrived at the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania. Designed by Mazda to compete in production car racing, the SP was an enhanced version of the Series 6 RX-7. Produced for the Australian market alone in 1995, the SP featured upgrades such as a lightened flywheel, a larger intercooler and significant weight savings. Power increased from 176 kW to a substantial 204 kW. According to Mazda advertising from the time, there were 60 changes from a standard car. A total of just 25 were produced to meet homologation requirements. The vehicle on display is number one of twenty-five.
Three Cars From Museo Moretti’s Collection To Be Auctioned
Three cars from Silvio Cibien's collection of rare, Turin-based coachbuilders will go under the hammer on 29 June at Bonhams "Longmont Sale" auction in Switzerland. One of the cars is a one-off 1975 Ford Escort Monte Carlo by Carozzeria Frua. Please check lots 103,104 and 106 in the auction catalogue.
