Fifteen Years on Wheels: The Jedimar Museum and Its Legacy for Classic Car Fans
Located in the heart of Estación Central, the Jedimar Museum houses one of the most outstanding private collections of vintage cars in South America. Since its inauguration in 2010, this cultural space has preserved and exhibited more than 150 vehicles in perfect working condition, of which nearly 70 are on permanent display and rotate periodically so that each visit is a different experience. Among its treasures, which are currently celebrating fifteen years on display, are iconic models from brands such as Aston Martin, Bugatti, Bentley, Porsche, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce, Studebaker, and Ferrari. The museum is named after Jesús Diez Martínez (Jedimar), founder of the Turbus transport company and the Antique Automobile Club of Chile, who in the 1980s began the collection that today is presented as a valuable cultural and mechanical heritage.

World of Volvo has been awarded Sveriges Arkitekter Västra Götalands Architecture Prize, which is presented every second year. The jury's motivation states: "The building forms a shining lantern on Gothenburg's horizon – a new landmark for the city and for Western Sweden. Here, the everyday and the visionary meet in an architecture drawing on the power of trees and timber. A tectonic sculpture where nature, man, and machine meet." The award was presented at a ceremony at the Röhsska Museum on October 2.

The latest acquisition of Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles is this 1938 American Bantam Boulevard Delivery Truck, one of the rarest of Bantam variants. Conceived as an urban delivery car for florists, bakers, and such, the stylish Boulevard Delivery was based on the Bantam roadster. Period literature described it as a “Jewel Box on Wheels”.
