Parque Dream Car Expands With New Formula 1 Museum
2026 began with a bang for Brazilian motorsport fans: the Parque Dream Car Park in São Roque (SP) unveiled its new F1 museum, composed of tributes to models that were hallmarks of an era in various decades. There are 6 cars already on display and another 6 will arrive in the coming weeks. The Cinecar space, composed of 12 movie cars, is another novelty of the themed automotive park.
New Technical Museum Set To Open In Vysoké Mýto
Up until the end of last year, the Czech town of Vysoké Mýto was home two museums, featuring Sodomka and other local Czech coachbuilders. It is fitting as it was once home to Sodomka (later Karosa, today an Iveco plant). With the closing of the Museum of Czech Coachbuilding there was a void, which is now being filled by a new Regional Technical Museum. A vacant agricultural school building has been transformed. Currently approximately one third of the exhibitions have been finished. Plans are afoot to start regular operations on 15 January, and to complete every exhibition by 18 April.
The National Museum of Transportation Celebrates 100 Years of Route 66 with New Exhibit: “Roads, River, Rooms, and Reels”
he National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, MO is proud to announce a special exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of historic Route 66. Titled “Roads, River, Rooms, and Reels,” the exhibit will open to the public on March 14, 2026, and will explore the stories, memories, and modes of travel that shaped America’s most iconic highway and the communities connected to it. Visitors will experience a stunning 26-foot model of the S.S. Admiral, beautifully restored by the skilled craftsmen of Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 36, honoring the legendary riverboat that once defined river travel and entertainment in the Midwest. The exhibit will also spotlight the beloved ’66’ Park-In Theatre on Watson Road, owned by the Wehrenberg Family of St. Louis, Missouri, a treasured symbol of drive-in movie culture and shared community memories along Route 66.

Museo Moretti Enonsolo Welcomes New Fuoreserie
Silvio Cibien, owner of Museo Moreti sent us a report on his latest acquisition: "There is now another Allemano in the museum, after the 1500 coupé, now a beautifull little Fiat 600 coupé Allemano just arrived. With its original italian plates from Belluno ( which is my original province), I could not refuse it! The museum is now rich of « Fuoriserie », based either on the Fiat 600 or 850 by coachbuilders, like Viotti, Lombardi, Mantelli, Vignale, Moretti, Siata, Baldi …"
Reynolds Museum To Display Rare Luxury Cars Starting Spring 2026
Two rare, luxury vehicles, a 1930 Packard and a 1931 Cadillac which have been donated to the Reynolds Museum will be displayed in the museum’s Great Hall in Spring 2026. The Packard is a 1930 Standard Eight Phaeton once owned by prominent Alberta artists Peter and Catharine Whyte. The second addition is a 1931 Cadillac Model 370A, described as the only known Canadian-built V12 roadster still in existence.
1975 Chevrolet Monza “King Monza” Now on Display at NAMT
This 1975 Chevrolet Monza “King Monza” is currently on display at the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania. The vehicle was constructed by Canadian race engineer Grant King in 1975, being driven by Tom Nehl before being transported to New Zealand in 1977, enjoying success at the hands of local driver Art McKee. It is believed to have landed on Australian shores in 1980, being campaigned successively by John Pollard, Rowan Harman, Geoff Munday, Mike Imrie and Chris Fing. It was purchased by a local Tasmanian motorsport enthusiast and has undergone an extensive restoration.
Motoring Museum Wena Brings Home Promot III Race Car
The Promot III race car is returning to Poland from Germany after 40 years. Tomasz Sikora drove this car in the 1980s. Sikora won several rallies and car races, including the Rally Poland and the Tatra Rally, and also participated in the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally. The museum's team travelled to Germany on January 4 to bring home this beautiful find.
1985 Lada Niva Joins the Collection of Wheels of History Museum
A true off-road legend has joined the collection of Ukraine's Wheels of History Museum. The VAZ 2121 entered production in 1977, At the time of its introduction, the Niva was a real breakthrough, combining excellent off-road capability of an SUV with the comfort of a passenger car. The Niva was exported to more than 100 countries around the world and gained popularity even in Western Europe and Japan. The Niva on display was buiit in 1985 and has only 44,000 km and preserved in its original paint.

The National Motorcycle Museum is delighted to welcome this wonderful early British lightweight into its collection — the 1921 Spark 269cc. Built by the Sparkbrook Manufacturing Company of Coventry, the Spark represents a fascinating moment in British motorcycling history, when bicycle makers began stepping boldly into the powered era. Simple, practical and purposeful, this utility model was fitted with a 269cc Villiers two-stroke engine and direct belt drive — affordable transport for a changing world.

On January 8, the Petersen Automotive Museum had a delightful arrival. This 1961 Taylor Dunn Trident was built as an affordable and stylish option for shopping and short commutes. Fun fact: the Taylor Dunn Company was built up from a chicken farm - early iterations of the company’s transportation were purpose built for carrying chicken eggs.

Caramulo Museum Publishes New Edition of “Collection of Cars, Motorcycles and Bicycles” Book
The Caramulo Museum has published a new edition of its book "Collection of Cars, Motorcycles and Bicycles," which features more than 60 new vehicles. Now exceeding 300 pages and more than 700 images, the list raises the total number of cars, motorcycles, and bicycles depicted to two hundred. In addition to the vehicles, the book also includes chapters dedicated to other collections related to the museum's motorized universe, covering races and rallies, events, exhibitions, and other memories associated with the collection and its founder, as well as a chapter on the Caramulo Experience Center.
