Wildeck Castle Motorcycle Exhibition

Zschopau was once home to DKW, one of the great German motorcycle and car brands. Later it became the MZ factory. Today an exhibition in the local castle looks back at the story of these companies. There are around 80 motorcycles from eight decades, plus everyday things of a DKW worker and parts of the Zschopau DKW workshop. Also worth seeing is the “DKW Collection Rasmussen”, a generous gift from the grandson of the company founder, which shows rare models from the early days of motorcycle construction and personal items from the founder of the DKW brand. There is also a section devoted to the East German MZ product range.
