Pays Fort Retromechanics Museum

The Retromechanical Museum of the Strong Country is a private museum located in 5 Champ de Foire, 18260 Vailly-sur-Sauldre, which presents more than 700m² of exhibitions devoted to automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles and agricultural equipment from the post-war period (1945-1960).

The collection includes around thirty French sedan automobiles designed during the timid post-war industrial revival, including models such as the Citroën DS 231E, the Peugeot 203 convertible, and the Renault Frigate, as well as threshing equipment and vintage vehicles like a Brouhot B1 (1908) and a Merlin steam locomotive (1885).
