Larz Anderson Auto Museum

Just four miles from Downtown Boston, the Larz Anderson Auto Museum is home to “America’s Oldest Car Collection.” Built in 1888, the museum is housed in what was once the opulent carriage house of wealthy Bostonians Larz and Isabel Anderson. This self-guided museum is home to our permanent Anderson automotive collection as well as our yearly changing exhibits of cars and rare automotive artwork.
