Museum Information
DESCRIPTION
Local fire museum with scale models, old helmets, a model of the old City Hall and a 1925 Benz-Gaggenau fire truck.
When the Wiesbaden fire department renewed its vehicles at the end of the 1950s, they came up with the idea of ββreplicating the discarded vehicles on a 1:10 scale before they became a “victim of the scrap press”. The vehicle models, lovingly recreated, formed the basis for the fire brigade museum, which was founded in 1960.
