House of Rui Barbosa Museum
"The mansion housing this museum was the home of Rui Barbosa, a legal expert, journalist, politician and - diplomat during the last 28 years of his life. Dating back to 1849, it is an important landmark in XIX century architecture in Rio, reflecting some neo-Classical influence. Opening times: Tuesday to Friday: 9 AM to 5:30 PM Saturday, Sunday and holidays: 2 PM to 6 PM Every last working Tuesday of the month, from 10 am to 7:30 pm.
