The former Vice President of Global Design at General Motors and guest curator of LeMay - America's Car Museum’s New Exhibition 'For Gold & Glory', Ed Welburn has spent years championing Charlie Wiggins’ legacy. Now, that story comes to life through racing history, artifacts, sound, and immersive design. Meet Ed Welburn as he unveils the Wiggins Special at 11 a.m., then be among the first to experience For Gold & Glory on September 19.

The Toyota Land Cruiser’s origins date back to 1951, when it was developed in response to a request from Japan’s National Police Reserve (the predecessor to the current Japan Ground Self-Defense Force). Although it was not ultimately adopted for service, it became the first vehicle to successfully climb to the 6th Station of Mount Fuji, proving its exceptional durability and off-road capability. To commemorate its 75th anniversary, the Toyota Automobile Museum are hosting a special exhibition featuring four classic Land Cruiser models, including the FJ40V (1974), FJ60V (1981), BJ74V (1987), and FZJ80G (1993).

Some legends deserve a comeback. Over the past 40 years, thousands of exceptional cars have been showcased at Autoworld Brussels’ exhibitions. For their Autoworld’s anniversary exhibition, some of these icons are returning to the museum. Among them are the Porsche 918 Spyder, the Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, and the Jaguar XJ220, joined by many other models that have shaped the history of our exhibitions.

The MG car owned by the world’s most successful speed-record driver, Goldie Gardner, is now part of the National Motor Museum Trust’s collection and is on display in the Museum at Beaulieu. Previously owned by author John Mayhead, who wrote the biography on Goldie Gardner which was published the National Motor Museum, the MG TC ‘MG6963’ is now part of our new gallery, ‘Driven: Britain’s Motoring Story'.’

The Rally Museum in Fafe welcomes the original Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV race car belonging to Horácio Franco, a major figure in motorsport from the Azores. The driver from Ponta Delgada was an eight-time Azores Rally Champion and built a long-standing connection with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. This Evo IV accompanied him in various events during the late 1990s, including the 1999 Rally of Portugal – which was part of the World Rally Championship at the time.

On Sunday, September 27, and October 25, the museum will once again open its doors to the public. Among the cars in the collection, visitors will be able to admire the latest arrival: one of the most iconic Ferraris of all time, unveiled in 1987 and a project strongly championed by Enzo Ferrari.

This ARM 250 enduro bike is one of the Spanish Motorcycle Museum’s latest additions. It comes from a small, artisanal manufacturer founded by the Romero brothers – successors to Anvián Motorcycles – that went on to compete at the highest international level. In 1985, riding an ARM, Fernando Gil won the silver medal at the International Six Days Enduro and finished as the Spanish championship runner-up. Of the mere 86 ARM motorcycles ever produced, the museum is now able to showcase this rare vehicle in its collection.

Meet the 1975 Steyr 690 GLB fire truck, which has arrived straight from the Volunteer Fire Department in Brzozowa to the Małopolska Fire Museum. This vehicle has a long history closely linked to firefighting service. For many years, it served with the Volunteer Fire Department in Lanzendorf, Austria. In May 2001, thanks to the initiative of firefighter Zbigniew Gotfryd and the immense assistance of Austrian Airlines pilot Capt. Josef Trattner, the Gromnik Municipality purchased the truck at a very favorable price for the Volunteer Fire Department in Brzozowa.

This 1993 Renault "Mega City" rescue vehicle has been added to the collection of the Central Firefighting Museum in Mysłowice. For many years, it served the firefighters of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Chrzanów, where it was used during operations involving road accidents and technical rescue missions. The vehicle was transferred to the museum’s collection by decision of the Małopolska Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service.

The Dick Johnson Greens' Tuf XE Falcon (replica) has recently arrived at the Gilbert's Motor Museum. The original 1983 car became a legend of Australian motorsport after a dramatic crash at Mount Panorama during the Bathurst 1000.

The car that sat under the cover at SOUTHWARD: FULL THROTTLE before the big reveal – the 2009 Hulme Can-Am Supercar. Designed and built right here in New Zealand, it’s powered by a 7.0-litre Chevrolet LS7 V8 producing around 600 hp. And there’s only one completed, driveable Hulme Can-Am in existence. Currently on loan to Southward Car Museum from a private New Zealand collection for a limited time.

 On 11 March 2027, the new Kawasaki VMX Museum Italy – a museum dedicated to the history of motocross and motor racing – will open in Camigliatello Silano, in the municipality of Spezzano della Sila. After a wonderful run, the Tucson Auto Museum will close at the end of this year, as the Founders and Board Members step back and the collection moves to a new chapter. What started with an outstanding collection became much more than a collection automobile - it became a place where people could experience history, craftmanship, stories, and genuine enthusiasm for preserving and sharing these remarkable automobiles.
