MAUTO’s Latest Exhibition Is Dedicated to Italian Racing Driver Carlo Felice Trossi
On Thursday, May 15, the National Automobile Museum of Turin (MAUTO) opened its latest exhibition 'Carlo Felice Trossi. Unfinished Hero', dedicated to the multifaceted figure of the Biella-born racing driver and auto constructor. The exhibition winds its way along a path of discovery that brings together memorabilia, photographic evidence, drawings, up to cars, planes and boats, and is curated by historian and essayist Giordano Bruno Guerri.
New Museum Exhibition Marks Škoda Auto’s 130th Anniversary
Škoda Auto is entering the 130th year of its rich history. Opening of an extensive exhibition at the Škoda Museum brings the company’s major milestones and many fascinating stories to life. BMW Art Cars in the Louwman Museum
From 4 July to 31 August, eight legendary BMWs will be in the focus of Louwman Museum’s ’Fine Art on Wheels’ exhibition. Iconic models such as the BMW 3.0 CSL, BMW M1 and BMW M3 GT2 – each transformed into a work of art by world-famous artists such as Alexander Calder, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Jeff Koons. From the brutal Le Mans racers to exclusive performance models – each of these cars tells a unique story, in which power, speed and design come together with art.
Presentation on Auto Union’s Last Racing Car Experiment to Be Held at Saxon Motoring Museum

Jörg Geisler, technical director of a medium-sized wholesaler and passionate Auto Union enthusiast, takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the technical development of Auto Union racing cars.

Matra 530 ’Europe 1’ Joins the Fleet of Matra Museum
On May 17, the Matra Museum welcomed its new resident, a Matra 530 ’Europe 1’. Sylvain Floirat, who was the vice-president of Matra, was also the owner of the Europe 1 radio station, so it's only natural that ties would develop between the two companies. In 1968, Matra offered the radio station a series of M530 As, which were painted in the Europe 1 colours and toured the roads during events such as the 1969 Tour de France. These orange and black cars would become excellent ambassadors for the young Matra Sports brand.
1987 BMW 333i Now on Display at NAMT
This stunning 1987 BMW 333i has recently arrived in the National Automobile Museum of Tasmania. Between 1985 and 1987, BMW of South Africa manufactured a very special 3-Series. It was created to complete in Group 1 saloon car racing, however the class was discontinued in 1985. The 333i featured the M30B32 six cylinder engine, seen in larger BMW models such as the 533i and 733i.
