For more than seven decades, the legendary VW bus has been moving people and goods all over the world. To mark its 75th anniversary, ZeitHaus in Wolfsburg invites you on a special journey through time in the special exhibition “75 years of VW Bus”: Selected Bulli models in the museum show everything from the air-cooled T1 to the all-electric ID. 

It took some patience, teamwork, and precision to position this rare model — but she’s now in place and ready to be admired.

The National Motor Museum is announcing a series of events to mark the landmark anniversary of Sir Malcolm Campbell’s World Land Speed Record in Sunbeam 350hp a century ago. The summer of centenary events will start with star appearances at Heveningham Concours and Bluebird Chelsea building towards Blue Bird’s return to Pendine Sands where it became the world’s fastest car reaching 150.76mph on July 21st 1925

Țiriac Collection is expanding from 170 to nearly 300 vehicles, unveiling models previously hidden from public view. Rare icons and long-awaited additions are preparing for their grand debut. To make room for this major transformation, the collection will temporarily close its doors starting June 9th. That leaves just a few weekends to explore the current collection before it evolves into something even more spectacular.

National Motor Racing Museum has installed a new display highlighting a couple of unusual race cars from Mount Panorama. These two Billy carts were raced at the Mount, and definitely would have been a wild ride going in reverse circuit direction, finishing on Mountain Straight.

The newest addition to the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum is a mural, featuring a historic photograph from downtown Davenport that was sourced from the Davenport Public Library collection. 

The Peugeot Adventure Museum had the honour this week of welcoming Antonio Filosa on the day of his appointment as CEO of the Stellantis Group. The museum is thankful for Mr. Filosa, accompanied by Messrs. Imparato, Chéreau, and Montavon, as well as Ms. Beyret and Ms. Ingen-Housz, for this moment of exchange and appreciation.

Another centenarian has arrived at the Classic Vehicle Museum of Perrigny. It's a 1924 Donnet-Zédel Type G Torpedo. The Donnet company of Neuilly-sur-Seine acquired the Zédel of Pontarlier in 1919 and became the Société Française des Automobiles Donnet-Zédel in 1924.

Motor Museum (Museo del Motor) of Finestrat, Spain, has a new addition to its collection. It's a BMW 5 Series (E12) 520, tuned by Romeo-Ferraris to 150 hp. This unique car is fully armored and equipped with special glass and a built-in fire extinguisher.

The Salamanca Museum of Automotive History presents a 1965 Dodge Dart never before on display. The seventh unit of this iconic model manufactured at the Barreiros Diesel factory in Spain is the museum's newest addition and on display since May 15th.

Just rolled into the Petersen Automotive Museum for their “Totally Awesome!” exhibit: a rare, short-lived legend of peak ‘80s wedge design by none other than Marcello Gandini. The 1986 Citroën BX 4TC. It may not have been the track star it was expected to be, but that’s exactly what makes it a collector’s dream today. “Totally Awesome!” is supported by Chase Private Client. 

This 1967 Mercury Cougar will be temporarily on display at the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, CO. Bud Moore Engineering built this race car from a 1966 prototype Cougar, with Parnelli Jones doing most of the pre-season testing. Fran Hernandez of Lincoln-Mercury pushed for Mercury’s entry into the Trans-Am Series to boost its performance image, but Ford ended the program after 1967 to eliminate internal competition with the Mustang.

Say hello to the newest member of The Jeep Guy Museum. It is a 1961 FJ-3 Fleetvan. These were originally used as mail delivery trucks from 1961-1975. The museum has been watching out for one for a long time and finally found a good one in California.
