“75 years of VW Bus” Exhibition Now Open at ZeitHaus

To mark its 75th anniversary, ZeitHaus in Wolfsburg invites you on a special journey through time in the special exhibition “75 years of VW Bus”: Selected Bulli models in the museum show everything from the air-cooled T1 to the all-electric ID.

The summer of centenary events will start with star appearances at Heveningham Concours and Bluebird Chelsea building towards Blue Bird’s return to Pendine Sands where it became the world’s fastest car reaching 150.76mph on July 21st 1925
Significant Transformation Is Coming To The Țiriac Collection
Țiriac Collection is expanding from 170 to nearly 300 vehicles, unveiling models previously hidden from public view. Rare icons and long-awaited additions are preparing for their grand debut. To make room for this major transformation, the collection will temporarily close its doors starting June 9th. Another centenarian has arrived at the Classic Vehicle Museum of Perrigny. It's a 1924 Donnet-Zédel Type G Torpedo. The Donnet company of Neuilly-sur-Seine acquired the Zédel of Pontarlier in 1919 and became the Société Française des Automobiles Donnet-Zédel in 1924.
Special BMW 5-Series (E12) Joins the Fleet of Spain’s Motor Museum
Motor Museum (Museo del Motor) of Finestrat, Spain, has a new addition to its collection. It's a BMW 5 Series (E12) 520, tuned by Romeo-Ferraris to 150 hp. This unique car is fully armored and equipped with special glass and a built-in fire extinguisher.

1967 Mercury Cougar Race Car Temporarily on Display at Shelby American Collection
This 1967 Mercury Cougar will be temporarily on display at the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, CO. Bud Moore Engineering built this race car from a 1966 prototype Cougar, with Parnelli Jones doing most of the pre-season testing. Fran Hernandez of Lincoln-Mercury pushed for Mercury’s entry into the Trans-Am Series to boost its performance image, but Ford ended the program after 1967 to eliminate internal competition with the Mustang.

Say hello to the newest member of The Jeep Guy Museum. It is a 1961 FJ-3 Fleetvan. These were originally used as mail delivery trucks from 1961-1975. The museum has been watching out for one for a long time and finally found a good one in California.
