Military Museum in the Armoury

The museum in the cantonal armoury of Schaffhausen displays various objects of the Swiss Army in the 19th and 20th century. At present there are 3 significant collections on display. Amongst others there are private articles, military equipment of the Swiss Army, federal ordnance weapons, cannonery, motor vehicles, transmission, surveying and Feuerleit items as well as precious historic brass instruments.

"Our collection shows an interesting cross-section of the Swiss Army from 1945 to 2000. The road vehicle collection shows vehicles from Berna, BMW, Bucher, Bührer, Condor, Dodge, Faun, FBW, Ford, GMC, Henschel, Hürlimann, Kaiser, Land-Rover, Magirus Deutz, Michigan, Mowag, Peter, Puch, REO, Saurer, Schiller, Capricorn, Steyr, Unimog, Vevey, VW, Ward LaFrance, Willys"

Museum Moretti

Silvio Cibien's private collection focuses on Turin-based designers, such as Giovanni Michelotti and Dany Brawand, his first disciple. 

There are also plenty of Moretti cars and Moretti-bodied Fiat cars. Additionally other coachbuilders are featured, such as Siata, Canta, Vignale, Viotti and Lombardi.

Saurer Museum and Depot

"Our museum, located in the picturesque town of Arbon on Lake Constance in Switzerland, shows commercial vehicles, motors, embroidery and weaving machines of all generations that were manufactured in Arbon. You will see around 20 historic vehicles (all categories; trucks, buses, military vehicles, fire engines and postbuses), as well as a comprehensive engine exhibition". Also there is a Depot,which "is a depot, as the name suggests.

Oskar Setz AG has been in the transportation business since the 1950s. This is a private collection of trucks and cars, which includes a one-off Colani-designed truck and a Sauber Formula 1 racing car.
