Situated on Highway 6, the South Karelian Motor Museum was founded in 1990 and is owned by the Classic Motor Vehicles of South Karelia Association. The permanent exhibition, which is spread over two floors, features motor vehicles from the 1920s to the 1970s. The upstairs exhibition area houses old cars along with motor cycles.
The Espoo Car Museum is the largest, most diversified and oldest vehicle museum in Finland. Objects and special exhibitions are often altered, so also those who revisit beautiful Pakankylä in Espoo may find something new. There are cars and motorcycles from the early 1900s up until family cars of the 1960s and 1970s, which have disappeared from the motoring scene. Our sports car collection is of major interest, too.
The Toivonen Animal Park and the Peasant Museum currently consists of 50 separate buildings and more than 12 500 exhibits. This Museum contains a main point and suggestive harvest of photo, unpublished documentaries, objects and heirlooms of the auto race on harder and fascinating road of every time, the mythical one "Targa Florio".
From the passion of a few men an interesting museum housed within the old Mossini primary school, in a small hamlet in Sondrio along the road to Valmalenco illustrates the history of motorcycle riders and the motorcycles of old in Valtellina, through its exhibition on the "old ladies" of two wheels.
