The Dundee Museum of Transport was opened in April 2014. It is a lively and active local transport museum with a changing collection of cars, public service, and commercial vehicles including memorabilia.

Trolleybus Museum Sandtoft

Located between Doncaster and Scunthorpe, the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft has over 60 historic trolleybuses in its collection. Many are in working order and on open days visitors can ride on them. Most of our trolleybuses come from towns and cities around Britain, and we show some of the social history of their heyday - the 1940's through to 1960's. We also have a few important examples from around Europe, Canada and New Zealand.

Dewsbury Bus Museum

Dewsbury Bus Museum is a dedicated group of volunteers whose aim is to preserve the transport heritage of the West Riding and the surrounding areas. Up to thirteen of buses are stored in the building in Ravensthorpe near Dewsbury which can be visited by appointment.

Canvey Island Transport Museum

The building that houses the Museum was built in 1934 for the Canvey & District Motor Transport Co. Ltd. and served a series of similar companies before passing to the Eastern National Omnibus Co. Ltd, which used it until 1978.
Castle Point Transport Museum Society then acquired the leasehold of the depot, later purchasing the freehold, and has since assembled a collection of over thirty preserved commercial vehicles, now forming the Canvey Island Transport Museum’s main display.

Cardiff Transport Preservation Group

The Cardiff Transport Preservation Group is a charity created in 1992, that have leased an ex-Western Welsh Depot in Barry since 2008 to store the collection of buses and associated memorabilia. Their aim is to preserve representative examples of the buses that ran in South East Wales and the Valleys as well as memorabilia and records of the companies they ran for.

Bo'ness Motor Museum

Museum founder, Colin Anderson, is a James Bond enthusiast and this is reflected in both the classic cars on display and the theme of the whole venue. Memorabilia, period signs & displays make this not only an interesting exhibition in it’s own right but also educational. The collection also features cars from both TV and film, 007 stage props and posters.

Oxford Bus Museum

At the Oxford Bus Museum we tell the story of bus and coach travel around Oxfordshire over the last 130 years. Our exhibits include a historic preserved horse-drawn tram, motor buses, coaches and a wide selection of artefacts - including bus stops, ticket machines, timetables, posters and staff uniforms. We also have lots of fantastic photos illustrating our diverse public transport history through the ages.

The Aston Martin Heritage Trust & Museum

The foundation of the heritage fleet was the bequest of a 1934 Ulster. Over the years this has grown through purchase and loan, as well as support from Aston Martin. There are currently around 20 vehicles, engineering prototypes, design models and cutaways, photos and memorabilia.

Aldershot Military Museum

Housed in the only surviving brick-built barrack blocks left in Aldershot, the museum tells the story of daily life for both soldier and civilian since 1854. The story of Aldershot Military Town and the civil towns of Aldershot, Farnborough and Cove is told using our vibrant collections within the fascinating, original buildings. Explore the site, admire the tanks, jeeps etc. and join in with the hands-on activities.

The Bus Collection at Alford

As the part of The Aberdeen & District Transport Preservation Trust that was created in 2006 by a group of public transport professionals to ensure that represents examples of the local public transport vehicles which served the North East are available for future generations to appreciate. As much as possible, vehicles in the Trust’s care are returned to running condition and are presented to the public at a variety of exhibitions in Aberdeen City and Shire as well as further afield.
